Please let us mod sound files, i wait years and years for it. I will flood the sandbox with voice line, music and sound mods. You dont know how much content youre missing out by not letting us soundmod… (I literally got tons of files prepared already)
(me checking the devs new news posts everytime, just to see it is not about sound modification again and i will probably have to wait more years for it)
Well, do you know how to create FMOD sound banks?
@Enginya Yes, i managed to do it already in the editor:
I created the new bank files, and started the editor, and during map selection, i exchanged the ingame bank files, and then loaded into the map. Every sound worked, explosions, gun sounds, and best off all, soldier voices for the player soldier and even the other ai controlled soldiers.
The only problem is that if you start enlisted with the launcher, it analyzes and replaces all changed files with the original ones…
It could work like in war thunder on the sandbox… Also i wanted to mention, on reddit there is a video of hardbass which replaced the speakers of stalingrad as an example…
(i really hope we get sound modification, for so long already)

I am already looking for the video i used to do when i replaced the files, which was already months ago. I need to get into it again, but i will immideatly start with it, you cant imagine how much will come

i was more interested to know about your work / modifications though 
as, i started to gather some voice lines too ( and didn’t wanted to end up copying or making the exact same mod 
).
mostly because i feel like sound modification will come way before of pves so.
I bet there will be many Red orchestra voice line mods haha But i dont mind, everyone will most likely choose different files, from Ro2 for example, so it will still be interesting for everyone. I do not copy, i would just love to create voice line mods just like i want to see them myself

i was going to make coh2 voice lines instead.
even though wouldn’t really be historical accurate, some lines are funny as hell and would allow players to understand the enemy if they desire to do so.
as well as remake music and extend them for longer periods with custom cinematic music.
Can I ask you guys something? Is it possible to change hangar music via modes? Or do you think it could be possible in future?
I will create so many of sound mods, you cant even imagine, voices for austrians, germans, ukrainians, russians… so many possibilities. If some voiceline mods from a game appear to be uploaded twice, i would not mind, as long as the mods were both made by their owners, and not copy pasted…
(I feel good like my dreams are about to come true…)
Just like in war thunder probably, it should be possible with sound sandbox mods for hangar sounds too.

Yeah, that’s not quite my thing. I turned off all current ingame music.

The moon ost sounds like cheaper version of dark tide ost. Kinda cool.
