I would greatly appreciate being able to bind a specific key for ejecting from a plane and opening the chute. This is because I want to use the f key for flaps and keep accidentally pressing it. Also, the ejection is pretty fast for a WW2 plane is it not?
It is, considering that rather than automatically ejecting; the pilot and crew must unstrap themselves, open the canopy/door and fling themselves out, hoping not to bounce off another part of the plane as they get pulled out into the slipstream.
It would be fun if there were animations for crew exiting vehicles in this game, instead of them just popping into existence outside.
I agree there should be a key binding available for exiting aircraft.

Why is this not a thing??? It’s rebindable but it changes all of the vehicle and static weapon “use” bindings. It should absolutely be a separate keybind, and I find strange that it isn’t given Gaijins love of keybinds.
It can be achieved
eject = other > use
bind the secondary function of use to whatver you want to eject that doesnt conflict (leave F alone)
then rebind Plane > Flaps to F. This overwrites the F key so you wont bail out.
