Are you FUCKING Serious ENLISTED @!#)($*@#)($E@#
FIX THE FUCKING AA POINTS FFS
Ya plane give you 130 score point And a lot of xp
Normal battle with this score you dont get more than 5000xp with premium
So is fine
And for precision shot down plane give you at least 2500xp point on 3219
I don’t know about cas… on your last picture, the top 1st of the opposite team REEKS of HVAR rocket spam…
and got a very big score.
Well based off the scoreboard, all you did was kill planes, contributing hardly anything towards the team (0 capture points, single digit engineer score tells me it only came from AAA and 2 squads lost compared to everyone else’s 10 or more from rushing the point).
This is a fair reward for doing basically nothing but sitting back and shooting at planes the entire game
OK now we learm tjhat shooting down 7 planes is nothing
Whatever you say.
The POINTS are not good for 7 tanks/planes down. They nerfed the AA to not be able to kill inf and that was correct, but the least they can do is to give more points on heavy armor kills
well not sure about that
Second screenshot(plane only):124 kills, 6 vehicles destroyed, 0 deaths=>6093 xp
First screenshot: 80 kills, 13 vehicles destroyed, 8 deaths (so i got to fly twice but 75% of the time was with infantry )=>8156 XP
So i noticed that only flying the entire match will get you a lower XP while using infantry + planes will get you more XP.
The dude in the last screenshot died 17 times so i can’t tell how many of those 264 kills were made by using a plane.
Air to air, i understand but CAS…as god intended.
If that’s all you spend TWENTY SIX MINUTES doing, yes. You can be doing MUCH more than that, juggling more than just anti air
So based on your so clever opinion I should kill all soldiers of the engie squad to do something else. Man you are very clever! Your wisdom is wasted in here!
You should go and walk your soldiers over to the point and cap it, if you die you die, oh well, deaths don’t matter so long as you’re actively killing enemies
Staying in the air whole game should reward less xp. All the objectives are on the ground.
Also I have noticed more wannabe pilot’s in games recently hogging the plane all game spamming “Need enemy coordinates” and not taking out tanks which is thier main team contribution. It’s quite frankly so infuriating.
It’s actually harmful to your team to hog the attack plane. If you are not not killing their tanks then those tanks will wreak havoc on your team and sometimes nobody else can really do much about it except a plane.
Despite being a decent pilot i mostly use planes to kamikazee bomb hard to reach tanks and objectives then go back to the ground.
If you want air to air combat play Warthunder. If you want more score play the objective on the ground. Decide.
I think of it this way - survivability should be encouraged. And, that is what I try to do (unless my squads are low level and otherwise poorly equipped) - lose the least squads possible in a match (and this is generally easy for a fully upgraded radio operator squads). 2nd to that are planes, players who can fly (and fly well enough) are significantly more rare than tank drivers.
I sometimes end up staying in the plane until the end of the match, it ends when a pilot on the enemy team shoots my plane down, engineers build an AA gun and shoot my plane down, or I crash due to failing to evade an obstacle.
Obviously, this has a consequence, of occupying a plane slot, not really letting others to fly, and possibly train their skills, as the amount of plane slots available are limited.
As for this…
Should it, really?
I’d be willing to agree with this statement, if there was a mechanic to “return to base”, after a bombing run/depleting ammunition, leading to a player switching squads from plane, to troops on the ground.
It could work something like this - upon returning to rearm zone, the plane disappears (it’s points used to spawn returned to the team), and the player gets to switch back to a ground-based squad, while respawn in plane for the same player is delayed for, like, 60 seconds? This should also allow other potential pilots to have a go with their plane “squads”.
Basically put, this could be similar to Warthunder’s ground arcade battles, where a player takes control of a plane temporarily.
Camping, playing far back trying to get the least amount of squad deaths is NOT a winning strategy in this game.
Playing aggressively and pushing to the point and sometimes ahead of your team to allow them time to cap or defend IS a winning strategy. From my experience and from other good players I enjoy sometimes squading with. Push the pace to the max! Squad deaths are almost irrelevant if you are looking to win games and get maximum xp. In fact one of the main reason I kamikazee with planes is so I can reset my squads and get back to my assaulter or MG squads faster while at the same time taking out tanks that are killing my team mates.
If you are staying off the point and camping, sniping, mortaring or flying all game you are just baggage in my opinion as that contributes very little to actually winning a game.
The only situation and campaign where a good pilot can make a difference is in Normandy with the Allies where they have the wonderful P47 and if you are getting only 37 kills in Normandy campaign in a P47 then quite frankly let someone else fly.
Does this also apply to confrontation game mode?
What about other game modes?
You always need people playing the objective as every game mode has one. The only semi passive game mode is defence but still you should be actively defending and it still needs a couple people to be on the point or causing enough casualties to the enemy that they do not reach the point.
Think of this scenario. It’s me you and one other player on the attacking team vs three other players on the other team the rest are bots. You are in the plane most of the game so not really helping, the other player chilling out mortaring and calling in arty most of the game. I will be attacking the point and setting up rallies the whole game. If the enemy players are decent and maybe higher level than me and playing the objective I will be in a 1vs 3 situation on the point most of the time which is very rough to win in a gunfight. Do you see why this would make it difficult to win the game? Also think after a game think what did I do to help my team win? Also remember there is a 50% xp bonus for winning for the whole team which is why it’s important.
It becomes even harder if I cannot take out tanks with my attack plane when there is a tank in overwatch position. I only need the plane for 30 seconds or so to get this done re arming the plane will usually take 2 to 5 minutes. In that 2 to 5 minutes of you re arming that tank could have killed 20 to 50 people depending on the map and the tank.
If you want to be a vehicle player specifically and make a difference then use tanks. They make a much bigger impact on this game than planes. If you take out all the enemy tanks and shell the point then you will be helping out your team immensely! As tank spam in games is very common and tanks can kill a lot of squads very quickly. They can completely lock down certain sight lines used for attacking players to get to the objective.
Why would you not want to play the objective? How does playing passively or using plane most of the game help your team?
TL;DR LEEEEEEROOOOYYY-
But yeah, playing the point more = more win, deaths don’t punish you minus ticket drain if attacking, so might as well plsy aggressive if you have at least decent aim, map knowledge, and can use cover
Lol! Yeah basically!
