Fg42 shouldn’t, it was never there, MG42/34 might, but if they’re more focused on Italian equipment, maybe not. The Panther wasn’t delivered to units until 1943, was unreliable in the extreme, and were never deployed to africa.
Is it too much to ask that you actually worry about imbalance that exists now, rather than imbalance that might shift or change in the future?

were to far past that now the 2nd p47d being added for Normandy like it wasn’t bad enough we had 1 but now 2 i can see the spam now a20 p47d p47d 22 you can bet the fg42 will show up in africa even thou panther were not there tigers were so there’s a trade off
realistically this will be about as useful as a gunner premium squad or the ppk42 event squad since it’s going to be a 1 trick pony with no versatility as the tech tree gunner squad will have 1 less gunner but more men and can have different classes such as engineer

Pretty sure you have to unlock the standard P47 squad to actually fly the rewards one, which is worse and doesn’t come with a squad, so it can’t be spammed.

That’s not a trade off, they’d be dumb to add the tiger to Tunisia (historically it was, you’re right there.) If they do, it’ll be because they didn’t learn from the fiasco that was adding Jumbo to Normandy, or adding panther to overcompensate. Nobody who wants balance wants heavy tanks in an infantry game.

This is probably one of the smaller and more innocent offenses. The one-sided nature of rewards is terrible, though. I guess it was too much to hope that they’d learn from the previous event that made Berlin virtually unplayable for a long while.
P.S. And yes, the game is a joke when it comes to authenticity. This is not a recent revelation either.

Its a game, they wanted to make them nice unique skin for your country and you are pissed.
They also gave us Kiwis a funny gun that was a Lee Matford with a gas chamber bolted to the side to turn a bolt action into a semi auto… Its an abortion of a firearm and insulting.
That gun is unique and im glad it is in game tbh. They gave Germans our Czech prototype rifles and SMGs, should i be mad? No, im glad i can play with that gun (ZH-29 and ZK-383).

Good to see something unique in this game. I’m tired of seeing “typical ww2 weapons” in war games. Wow, for the 100000000 time I can play with Thompson, lmao!
