There seems to be the same issue again and again in almost every game I play : a lot of players just don’t care about objectives, they just want to pile up frags. Those guys will just not try to capture or defend anything, they just keep away from objectives so that they don’t put themselves too much at risk. They don’t tag enemies because they want frags so they’d rather kill those themselves. So no teamplay, no “Enlisted spirit”, nothing.
So here comes the suggestion : why not keep XP for people actually playing this game the way it’s supposed to be ? Why not reduce frag XP to almost nothing ? Anyway we MUST kill enemies to play, so we’ll just keep trying to do so. The XP bonuses for building defenses, capturing and such are so meaningless compared to kills at the moment, it explains it all. Teamplay must be much better rewarded (or non teamplay much less
).
Maybe we’ll see a bit less snipers too …
I understand that sentiment but I will just say not every player is like that.
Sometimes I’m off objective. Maybe I’m bipoding with my MG somewhere, or having a sniper nest, or I’m guarding a specific flank outside the objective. Sometimes I wait “in the rear” to act as the next wave for the attack/defense
it is probably because people are trying to grind for the event
This is not Battlefield, Enlisted seems to punish any teamplayers and encourage lone wolf ironically in “SQUAD” Mode as core mode of the game
i thought the best way to mitigate the frustration is to make the reward team based. so even if there’s a high scorer who don’t do jackshit to help the team win, others would be a lot less annoyed.
That increase the dersertion rate, because no one want to carry braindead teammates

I agree 90%! Great post. As someone who snipes and has a decent squad for my Axis Normandy sniper squad, I play the objective from a distance more than the guys who are “close” to the capture zone. Unfortunately the game has bo team play because it’s hindered by the fact that people would rather just get kills. I personally do both. I usually end up with the most objective points and the most kill and overall battle score in game. I take screenshots of my after action game report as well as the score board just to be able to prove to people that I’m not making it up, so far I’m trying to get some guys/girls who want to link up and play together. If we all get together and “squad up” we can have proper communication and dynamic directions to defend or attack objectives as well as have teammates off to the side to be able to either flank or give distant support.
im my opiniom it is because there’s not enough players per team
there’s 10 players from which
2 play tank
1-2 play plane
2 play sniper, mortar etc they stay at range
and suddenly you have 4 buds to push objective with if you time it up perfectly, usually some of them will be dead and you’re pushing cap by yourself
if we could have 15v15 things might be looking better
I feel that even though it might feel a little hollow having less guys help out, if we ask the devs to change the system we have now that “works” they will change it to something that works that we don’t want cause it won’t be the “fix” we asked for. Unfortunately I’ve lost a lot of hope since the test merge.
