Just getting to BR V with the Allies, the first faction I’ve started playing with and I had a few mini heart attacks seeing how expensive those guns are.
I get it. It’s a Free To Play game and you’re just being led into a path of: buy currency or grind until your fingers fall off.
But even then, I feel like the Silver you get per matches is quite low. My match last night against mostly AI players, I had gotten 8000 points, I had an 80% (I wish I had more) XP Booster and still only got 3000 Silver.
Weapons are expensive, that’s one thing. Then you have Soldiers, like your Assaulter IV’s. 7900 per Soldier, not guaranteed to have max perk points. Everytime you have to re-roll them, you lose a 1000 Silver on them, if you send them back. I remember buying Guerillas for the Soviets, I lost 10K Silver until I could get a soldier with max perks. Since gambling is not allowed in the Netherlands for example, I’m not even sure how this works there. LOL
Maybe we ought to earn more Silver the higher BR we play?
The game has no “economy” worth the use of that word.
Nothing ever gets used up or lost, you never pay for repairs - all you have to do is play a bit more and you get SL to spend on new toys - and once you’ve finished the tree you can go about min-maxing all your soldiers - or even before then if you want.
This is not an “economy” it is just steady progression to getting everything available in the game.
You don’t need it, by saving up the level up cards and playing smart you can have giant surplus
Atleast it’s not warthunder, here you can actually buy top tier vehicle with several battles
I don’t think that will make much difference. He was only a community manager not a developer.
I doubt he had much influence on the action of developer.
Honestly, I think it’s fine the way it is. A premium account really helps you to progress much faster. If you don’t have one I would recommend it. I bought like 2 years of premium time when it was on sale and have unlocked everything in all tech trees in like 6 months of playing like 10 hours a week.
At the very begging is hard to accumulate silver since You are spending on a decent br 1-2 gear regardless of the faction and depending on Your in Game skills or your preference crédito card You can speed up or slow down this proccess
Then we got the grind is pretty much getting decent amounts of silver for buying equipment for all br (or on My case for only the Brs i play like br 2-3 and 5)
And finally the shine You got decent stuff for all levels and things go downhill since is easier to advance (except when it comes to the late Game 125k xp grind which is gonna take a while)
But after all You get everything You needed and the process repeats until You complete all faction (ofc the more factions You complete the easier would be to beggin the next since You would alr have your 200k silver for example
And well i would add a final phase
The real shine where You don’t care anymore
Screw the economy and lets go gambling
