May someone from the developers please reply what happened with these points:
You will also gain the ability to sell unneeded weapons and dismiss soldiers to get even more bronze orders.
All the above mentioned changes will be introduced step by step within the next few updates of the game. So, you can spend existing training orders in the meantime or just wait for the mechanics to change. Unspent orders and weapon parts will be compensated - by additional bronze weapon and soldier orders credited to your account.
You did say we can still use the old system and than sell excesive soldiers for bronze. I did as you said! Now I sit on 238 soldiers in my reserve, that I all eventually wanted to send to the academy. I want to be able to at last dismiss them for bronze now.
Or am I waiting for nothing?
I will not quit the game because of this. But I will probably not buy gold again, or extend my premium membership.
In general it is bad business practice to say something, especially as specific as regarding this matter and than just do not follow up with what had been said and even worse, do not talk about that.
And that is what I really dislike, just effing say:
a.) No f*** you dear customer, we do not care what we said.
b.) Oh damn, we thought you forget about that, we’ll hotfix this in ASAP.
Not really a fan of where this game is going personally. The core aspects seem left behind and bugs go unchecked. Updates seem to be half finished most of the times. I’m just “meh” to the game at this point
The thing about this that’s killing me is that the only excuses for implementing the new soldier progression system halfway are 1) it’s “beta,” we’ll get there and 2) they didn’t want to hand a huge advantage to veteran players right away. If we could dismiss all our guys for bronze orders we’d be a significant way toward maxed squads, which not all of us already have.
The other thing, and I know WT is Gaijin direct not DF, is that WT’s most recent announced economic update was so massively unpopular with the playerbase that they announced today it’s been just cancelled. Over here, they give us scant details about the system, and it sounds good for the most part, but then they don’t give us details on implementation and botch it. There’s bugs that have existed since CBT for some of the campaigns, there’s imbalance all over the place, and instead of fixes or transparent devblogs we get economy nerfs and a new event with incomprehensible leaderboard calculations.
Devs haven’t reclarified their positions or reassured us it was coming so I think it’s safe to say we are just getting screwed over.
@44854715 I fully expect them to suddenly roll the weapon update without warning and leave us with nothing in the same exact fashion, why would they do it differently for weapons?
Exactly. I’m expecting the exact same thing to include cutting off the supply of silver orders but retaining the cost of 3 for late game weapons and hundreds of bronze orders to raise the levels. They’ll add “fresh mechanics” like this ranked mode being the only new way to get silver orders
well, not going to buy any gaijin gold anymore. And also, where is all the ingame status information? You don’t even know what you are paying for if you gonna buy a crew. the skill tree is not showing, and all the status is unclear eg. what is the weight system for… and all the perks make me confused as well. gaijin is bad, I knew that from war thunder and also quit that game long ago and jumped to wot. Now I may quit this too, nice! such a shame that I spent some money on this game but not for a cup of coffee.
