Can we instead try to think about actual gameplay issues? I don’t care that a Panther in Normandy has SS markings, so much as I do that new players don’t have a tank like the M10 GMC to counter it.

New players don’t deserve to be able to counter a Panther. People worked to unlock the Panther, and it destroys the enemy good, as it should. New players shouldn’t be able to one shot a Panther in their first ever game simply because it is “too op”. I’m ranting, but this is a little bothering to me. If a player is in a Panther, they should have the chance to encounter things like a Stuart and completely obliterate it. It is historical that these two vehicles could meet, and the outcome is realistic.
In addition, I am completely against rank based match making. This would make it basically impossible for things like a Panther to ever encounter something like a Stuart. It would just be the best tanks fighting the best tanks every game. That is not fun and it is not realistic.

ok that was a bad example, what i mean is that there are big issues with game balance such as explosive spam, 4 stacks, random MM, SF rifles, etc, that probably have a bigger effect on the playerbase’s enjoyment of the game than a SS symbol on a tank.
This is a game regarding WW2.
To remove large quantities of symbols of one of the main participants of this conflict is like making a documentary about libraries that specifically omits any images of books. If the idea of looking at a book is too unfathomable and traumatic to you, then why even bother making a documentary about libraries? This is no different to those that remove swastikas, etcetera.
These symbols are part of history. The USSR engaged in mass rape, killings, abuses of post-war Deutschland. More died under the Hammer and Sickle, yet this symbol is not hidden in this game.
Either remove the German faction or establish a setting for people to where they can enable or disable seeing swastikas.
It is ridiculous - people want to engage in a program about WW2, yet they become upset when they actually see symbols that appeared in WW2. It is like someone going to the zoo and then shrieking and crying inconsolably when they witness animals. Grow a pair.

I am not arguing that I want the SS panther removed, I’m stating that I think there are greater issues with the game’s balance, gameplay, and player base which I think the developers should pay attention to. The SS Panther skin shouldn’t have been removed since it didn’t really cause a huge gameplay imbalance. Also, spamming meme topics about the issue ridiculing the devs is counter-productive, as it clouds the meaning of the original issue and makes the devs less likely to respond.
I was just commenting on the situation in general.
