Yak-9UT with 45mm high velocity nose cannon
Imagine a Yak-9K (1210 Horsepower engine) with that juicy 45mm high velocity cannon with great HE potential but also great penetration potential as well but now change the engine to VK-107A (1650 horsepower)
Thats the Yak-9UT… its Yak-9K on steroids (flight performance wise) but theres a bonus… instead of a .50 cal on Yak-9K the cowling gun is a 20mm cannon instead that provides the 45mm cannon with a solid back up.
Top Down attacks will melt those King Tigers with that 45mm cannon and its what this thing will excel at. Especially since its not a slow firing 45mm cannon but one with high rate of fire.
