WWII: Early and Later?

I’ve been playing Enlisted for a year and this is my first time on the Forum (I didn’t know this existed).

1. New possible maps

We’re currently having a WWI trench warfare event, and it’s not the first time they’ve added WWI-related content.

I know they’ve said that Enlisted will remain focused on WWII and won’t include Cold War elements, but because of all this, I was wondering if they’ll add more content (permanent or temporary) related to WWII, such as the Spanish Civil War, the Russian Civil War or the Korean War.

2. New maps mechanics

I also wanted to ask if we’ll get more original map mechanics that can support the armies, like those on the “Airfield - Normandy” map, where we can take planes to shoot down barrier balloons and obtain reinforcements (default ammo crates at capture points, radio stations scattered around the map like in the current event, medical vehicles that serve as healing stations, etc.).

I think all of this would make the game more interesting and less repetitive.

PS: If something isn’t clear, it’s because I don’t speak English very well and I’m using a translator.

Hi, ah… my füh…

These has been proposed a couple of times already, and there definitely could be more interactive elements. That said, any of those requires investment from the devs so I believe they can make the best choice for the amount of resources they have.

Some of those elements already exist in game if I’m not mistaken. For example those balloons grant you respawn tickets as attacker once they are destroyed.

Just to clarify, the Korean War was part of the Cold War, while the Russian Civil War was not part of World War I, so please don’t confuse them.

EARLY: In the Russian Civil War, there was intervention by the USA, the UK, and France (among other countries) with the objective of reopening the Eastern Front against Germany in WWI.

EARLY: In the Spanish Civil War, the first generation of Panzer I tanks was tested, along with other light vehicles from the CTV (Italy) and the Condor Legion of the Luftwaffe.

LATER: In the Korean War, both the USSR and the newly formed UN massively supplied surplus WWII equipment (such as T-34-85 and M26 “Pershing”). There was also direct Soviet participation, commanding the new MiG-15s (“MiG Alley,” based on captured German technology), which represented one of the first testing grounds for jet aircraft that were built/designed during the final years of WWII.

LATER: Also in the late 1940s, France mobilized old Panther tanks, fearing that the USSR had armed China with the third generation of IS tanks, which posed a threat to its holdings in Indochina.

BR 0: Implementing a BR 0 with “Early” content could limit the use of automatic weapons and difficult-to-destroy vehicles against lower BR levels (a Panzer IV E -BR II- is much stronger than a Daimler Mk.2 or a T-70 -both BR I- but is still too weak for a KV-1 of BR III).
BR VI: Tiger IIs or Meteor F Mk.3s are very difficult to counter with BR IV weaponry such as T-34-85s or even BR V propeller planes. Frankly, there are BR V vehicles that are absurdly overpowered and shouldn’t be in those matches.

All of this, of course, assumes that the content is added permanently and not through temporary events.
I’ve seen people debate the addition of new Battle Royales to the game to balance matches, so I don’t see it as such a crazy idea.

Hold on, I’ve already explained. Aside from the Russian Civil War and the Korean War, which cannot be included in the Enlisted, other pre-WWII historical battles, such as the Spanish Civil War and the First Winter War, can be added, even if they are commemorative events. Finally, as standard features of Tier 5 matchmaking, each country has unique equipment and firearms. Don’t assume that just because something is powerful, it can’t be used; that’s a misconception. On the contrary, it shows that both the Allies and the Axis powers had different powerful weapons as representatives.
