WT is removing Ho-Ri as Fake. What would you prefer to happen to Ho-Ri in Enlisted? (v3)

The original thread laying out why the Ho-Ri’s in Enlisted are fake

was closed because apparently news on the same topic 6 months later are “necroposting”.

Ok.

Here is the latest WT news confirming the Ho-Ri’s as seen ingame are fake:

The previous thread WT is removing Ho-Ri as Fake. What would you prefer to happen to Ho-Ri in Enlisted? was also closed, because having “Other” doesn’t count as “Nothing”, I guess.

So a “Do nothing” option is now added.

Keeping that in mind that WT is usually much more lenient with fake/paper vehicles and fictional encounters, and even they decided to delete the Ho-Ri for being an obvious forgery,

What would you prefer to happen to Ho-Ri in Enlisted?

  • Remove the fictional Ho-Ri Prototype/Production from the research tree/premium store
  • Add the paper design “Ho-Ri II” to the research tree/premium store (Chi-Ri chassis, likely BR4)
  • Compress Japanese BRs 4 and 5 into one “fantasy BR” and separate from “realistic” BR 1-3
  • Do nothing
  • Other (specify in comments)

You can’t even just put “no”… you say “do nothing” like there is a problem… you may think it is but you can’t even be unbiased in the decisions… and then you add something completely unrelated to the suggestion purely because you hate how much of a fantasy land it and other nations has become, wow… what a surprise… we get it… you hate how we don’t have the same standard stuff we get in every ww2 game.

do nothing of course , warthunder is warthunder they do whatever they want whats fits (even if doesnt really work most of times ) but i prefer the dev do nothing about ho ri for the sake of balance , if they remove hori they had to remove super pershing facing japan to be only exclusive facing germany and remove is2 44 facing japan only facing exclusive on germany

Japan already has the least amount of content, removing stuff from their tree wouldn’t be a smart decision.

if they do end up doing something ( probably nothing ) it should get removed from TT and turned into a event tank. For the premium version it should stop getting sold and be obtainable through gold chests only

actually japan have one of the most small TT of the game, same for premium and events, this is not a good idea, unless you allow we “steal” and do copy paste stuff from americans/russia (because japs stole lot of american/soviet stuff), I can’t agree with this and I suggest keep this madness adding Ho-Ri II, btw, if they are going to delete in WT the Ho-Ri, they should delete from the other nations the fake tanks too

I don’t think any other nation has such insanities that were straight up forged in 2010s like Ho Ri.

There are too many prototypes and stuff that never saw service indeed, but the worst things that come to mind are the fake Chinese PPSh S, the post-war Su-9 1946, the post-war Rocket Pershing and Hino-Komura rifle (most likely fake).

I believe they should be removed in their incorrect forms.

As silly as it sounds I do not mind prototypes in game, but even prototypes should be properly represented

The “Ho-Ri”(s) can return in their proper forms

Too bad the “prototype” won’t be changed as it’s adjusting the core values of a premium purchase.

if not, no.

… they could always keep it for owners and remove it for the future.

… but japan has very less content.
taking stuff out just doesn’t feel right when fakes aren’t a new concept in enlisted… especially for japan.

To be honest apart from Chinese PPSh S I can’t think of any other outright fake item.

should I start to list the insanity in the ships on war thunder of the soviets or the list a dude make in reddit about the fake stuff who other nations have?, before point the Ho-Ri point the other nations first :wink:

I’ve always considered WT a paper tank trash can so I really don’t know what happens there

Removing it just because “muh it never existed” makes no sense, especially if that nation needs it, i don’t think the fact that only a blueprint or a photo of a wooden mockup remains justifies its removal, is also an interesting tank

you speak again of Ho-Ri, pointing ONLY to that specific tank, are you butthurt or what, I already explained if Ho-Ri disappear from war thunder, they should do with the other fake stuff of other nations as well
