This event, which forces players to use terrible soldiers, terrible mixed equipment, and a terrible Pacific map, teaches us a few lessons. It makes us realize how valuable the deck we have built with the soldiers and equipment we have trained and purchased is.
Another is that everyone now knows how terrible the Pacific map is. Every time the base changes, you have to cross a river, and the narrow paths are blocked by debris, forcing tanks or trucks to barely squeeze through or carve out new routes. All of this results in a waste of time and ticket points.
There’s also that terrible aircraft carrier takeoff. My A6M2 barely manages to climb to 300 meters in altitude, and then the Yak fighter plane looks down on me from 800 meters above and shoots me down.
Perhaps this event is intended to show everyone the possibility of a terrible experience and the worst-case scenario, making us grateful for the ordinary game we had before.

Speaking as someone who didn’t like event to start with, it does grow on you.
The idea is to use preset platoons to fight with, hence the Even Fight thing.
Are you missing your perks? I know I did.
The concept is nice. Honestly event lineups make for very fun and (somewhat) balanced matches.
Only thing I dislike is… It’s summer, why are they so strict with the event time frame for rewards? every day is too much… I preferred the previous format.

I wouldn’t say this is the worse event of the year, but it is following a pattern of not so impressive events. Personally, I thought the Cowboy and Indians event was the worst, unless that was not this year, I’m old, I can’t remember.

The problem is that the preset squads are too bad. It’s not just a matter of soldier skills, but also the order of weapon arrangement is completely messy. Why not put the fully automatic rifles together? It’s hard to imagine a player doing such a thing.This also reflects from another perspective that developers do not understand players’ gaming habits.
Moreover, players cannot change the order in which soldiers are arranged,also cannot preview their squads before starting the game.

The best event they ever did was the Moon battle event.
They threw us on the moon. everyone had the same soldier choices. they just threw us there and said “have fun”
Which is what we had! There was no time gated rewards to get, just a very silly but hilarious mode to play in… was so much fun…

Personal I dislike the gun game event more than the current one, which only saving grace is that it gives us an opportunity to finally have Soviets vs Japan, poorly done of course

Does it? Its insulting to play and its painful to only get Japan.
The even concept is fine, its just for something that was delayed 6 months, making a custom match gamemode which realistically could be made in about an hour is really bad.

Playing without fast healing and stamina perk is torture. Also paciifc maps suck and i would have rather played soviet maps

I don’t think this event is fair at all. It just tells us a terrible thing. Developers don’t understand the performance of these gun at all. Japanese equipment is obviously worse than Soviet equipment.
Especially Type 4 rifle. Too sucks that I can not even shoot a moving target.
Of course, Japanese planes are also very sucks, only the Tiger tank slightly better than the Stalin 1 tank
