Not in the form of trench warfare. Or if they do… take proper inspiration from BF1s rendition of passchendaele … there it was more than flat barren land which yeah might have been what it was but it doesn’t equate to fun for the average player IMO… it forces different playstyle than what is required in normal match in which case i think being event is well suited… people already make WW1 mods that are better than this event… you’ll be able to play it there.

this event have too many flaws, people complained it enough, and I remind even if I will get hate, it’s funny see how a dude alone in his/her home can do better mods than the snail
Honestly… Enlisted is not set up to representing WW1 on a ground level, the squad AI wouldn’t be able to handle it, and the scale of the game is wrong for it…
And, iconic WW1 gear isn’t always in the tech tree, which the MP 18 would have to be if we had a WW1 campaign in the game…
Inter-war conflicts, if anything, is something that could\should be expanded into, but WW1 proper is closed off to us outside of events and mods.
