With the addition of shovels, bombers in stalingrad wont be as scary

i did some testing in practice mode and found out that bombers actually have very low chance to kill you in foxhole dug by shovels; sure they do devastating damage but only drop few bombs and to kill you, bomb would need to hit very close to you, enemy will still have a good chance to kill you by mortar strikes though

Problem is in Stalingrad, most of the ground is concrete and asphalt roads  can we did through that?

Other question: Why spending so much time for digging holes you dont need to defend?

not really, if you look for it, you will find many dirt spots, and you can even build rallies in them; enemy will have no idea!

🤷 the fun of it.

In Tunisia I once met a guy that spent a good 10 minutes digging around in the next point to defend. He also had put barbed wire, hedgehogs and sandbags all around. It was impossible to assault (he also had built AT guns and AA guns.) When I asked in amazement about it, the guy just chuckled and said he had fun. It’s as it should be

It’s truly fun doing that ! It’s kinda of a bummer that there’s so many few moments where i get to do it and it ending be actually useful

And shovels unlock so much potential for a imagination to go wild, I’d just wish they would do a complete rework and make shovels work like hammers.

All we would need is some grace period between point captures, and or know which is the next dpot to defend.

Hey come to think of it, the new confrontation mode DOES have a grace period timer during which a point cannot be caped. It’s going in the right direction!

Yeah i played a little bit and damm i didn’t expect the grace or lockdown period to last so much ! I might even dare to say it’s to much, definitely more than 1 minute!

And i agree in that a grace period should come to invasion too but slightly shorter I’d 30 or 1 minute is more than enough
