Will Manchuria actually change anything?

Lots of hype - but I don’t see it changing anything fundamental about the game - sure Japan will be able to fight the USSR… but… well… so what?

Same mechanisms for MM, same broken a-historical battles (1941 gear in Berlin etc…) economic model where game “survives” by adding more and more exotic equipment rather than having good game play.

The 2025 road map didn’t actually improve the gaming experience so why would we expect another superficial update to do so?

It will be new maps for japan which is desperately needed as pacific imo is rather dog shit per se

New maps are not a fundamental change - they’ll be a novelty for a bit is all.

Well better then nothing. There will be also a new class so yeah it will be good improvement new vehicles and weapons also and new map really what more do you want its not gonna fix all the problems but it will be good update. The 2025 map was amazing very unique looking map. The historic experience can be improved with more maps when we have enough we can split them in to early BRs and late BRs but there is not enough maps really.

Rubbish - there’s plenty of maps to cater for “the historic experience”, and the 2025 map achieved sweet fa - there was exactly ONE gameplay “improvement” - to landmines… more silver for this or that, being able to invite friends, etc - made no substantive difference to the game at all.

Everything else that was hyped was nothing more than what should be normal game development - UI improvements, inviting friends, etc… it’s still a pig’s ear and not a silk purse.

A new class? Oh yippee - another facile and artificial division that will add nothing to the game except something “new” to grind.

What I want is something that does show a path to fixing problems rather than just adding bling to distract players from them.

In what way? It’s looking like nothing that hasn’t been added before, so why expect a different result?

Wald? It’s boring af - just Sealow Heights without a river

And its far better then Berlin maps really its very good map. Majority of Berlin City maps are super bad. So Wald was very good map.

Fixing the Japanese faction is good I mean if you dont play Japan probably you dont care but if you do its step in a good direction.

Welcome to Gaming 2025 its just a cash grab and you hope they dont brake too many things and add too many P2W elements.

What do you expect to be added that will change the game ?

variety currently the us and germany are the only factions with more than one adversary power
japan faces only us
ussr faces only germany

us - gr
ussr - gr
us - jp

ussr - jp its 33% more variety of matchups

Yes I noted that already - but it isn’t a change in the nature of the game.

so making enlisted gr vs ussr only
and us vs jp only wouldnt change the game

if you feel that way i disagree but understand

So what?

Nothing other than “You’re wrong to be hyped up, as I’m superior being and know better than you do” type of post.

No, because I’ll be skipping it like Pacific (playing as US). I think there are much more interesting and more necessary theaters.

I’ll be able to go against Japan and not have to fight on the abysmal Pacific maps.

I’m hoping that I can play US without ending up on a pacific map ~ 80% of the time. That would be a HUGE win for the game in my mind.

I for one am sick of playing against japan as U.S. 80% of the time. I would much rather only fight germany. So for players like me, this should give quite a bit relief. I’m hopeful it will improve MY matchmaking and gaming experience, I’m sure you didn’t even consider this.

There’s also a lot of people out there who hate playing BR5, map locking to BRs is bad for how the game is set up. Equipment BRs are not based on development year anyways. I do not care for the historical shit show as it just doesn’t work for this game and will heavily favor germany every time without burning it all to the ground. People need to get over it already.

The faction that builds the most rallies is going to fight the faction that builds the least rallies, how are you NOT hyped for this show down?

Best response by far!!

What exactly do you want it to chage?
It opens up the ability to have Japan and the Soviets face off together, will bring in new maps along with new weapons and vehicles, gives the ability to add new squads…and judging by the terrain pics it will chage how you attack objectives. It’s going to help fill out the Japanese TT and be a new theater to play in. To me this is a win…now devs can start working on new battle maps and other campaigns like an Italian campaign, Kursk, Iwo Jima, something in Holland or Finland, etc.
Until it drops we don’t know what it brings…new AA perhaps?

Its not going to fix anything, idk who said it was BUT it will still be kinda nice with a different match-up…it is what it is. I see it as a positive even if its not the sort of changes I think the gane really needs

So,new maps also is a necessary session of a war game

I think Manchuria will be a far better map design than the pacific I cannot describe my pure hate for the pacific maps Burma and Manchuria is probably gonna be far better than majority of said maps

Next we just need the Philippines
