As of right now, Enlisted is testing bayonets in the Berlin campaign, so hopefully we’ll be able to see them in other campaigns soon.
That brings a question of the existing weapons, and if owners of them could be given their respective bayonets. This question mainly applies to the golden order weapons, as for example the Berdan II, being such a niche weapon, might get some more fun factor out of it by having one of the longest bayonet-reaches in the game. Its description also mentions the bayonet, so will it be given to all of the current weapon owners?
Will all other rifles be automatically given one, or will those bayonets drop just like pistols?

as far as we know that has been officially said by the devs during a stream;
it’s a bit generalizied, but in the livestream, they mentioned that they were watching how bayonets perform, and than they will include bayonets for the already existing weapons of the others campaign as well.

I just hope that they just give bayonet slot to the existing weapons instead of creating another campaign level (probably after all those that we have already) just for standard rifle with so essential attachement like bayonet.

well, the game can burn for what i care tbh, i just want ma halftruck, and pve.

on a serious note, it seems those are separate weapons having bayonets.
i hope to be wrong, but it seems that your concerns are right.
pretty much like the grenade launcher rifle.
i think it should be that you have the ability to carry the bayonet, or the grenade launcher.
but we’ll see.
We can hope for that… I can´t imagine researching literally same weapon in campaign tree AGAIN only because its got stabby boi on its end… That would be incredibly stupid.
