Why when I bail from a plane my first weapon is an AP mine?

I was in the Air Force, but as a security specialist, so in actuality I can’t say what pilots would draw as their first weapon after jumping from a plane and landing on the ground. However, I am quite certain an AP mine would NOT be my choice over my SMG.

I wouldn’t really care, but I jumped from my Soviet Bomber with my four man crew after being shot down and dropped in amongst about half a dozen enemy soldiers, and got my ass kicked because I am holding an AP mine while the enemy squad is standing their with SMG’s in hand. The Dev’s could have just given me a roll of toilet paper for all the good an AP mine will do against SMG’s.

The vast majority of times I bail when I land, I either have an AP mine in my hand, or a pistol, but 90% of the time an AP mine, so this is not an isolated incident. Would it be too much to ask for the main weapon to be in the crews hands upon landing rather then an AP mine? I’m guessing yes, it’s too much to ask.

Do you change your throttle using scroll wheel? Im not certain if this can even happen but what if your pilot is switching their weapons while you use scroll?

I don’t think so. Whenever I land I almost always have an AP mine in my hand, and other then opening my parachute I am not doing anything after I jump. :joy: Not very often does the game put my right in the middle of the enemy when I land, but today it did.

im here what do you need?

The problem you encountered was definitely better than the scenario where the parachutists you brought landed and retrieved the mine supplies from the supply box, only to find that some of your soldiers had zero mines.
Regarding the paratroopers, there are other bugs as well. When the paratrooper box lands on the ground and rolls over obstacles and ends up with the bottom facing upwards, if your paratrooper lands on this box, the paratrooper will enter the box and immediately be killed.
In the air, if your paratrooper accidentally collides with the box, you will likely die.
In some battles, if you deploy the paratroopers to the farthest point behind the enemy’s position at the beginning of the battle, even if the enemy’s robots are separated by more than 100 meters, many of them will shoot at you all at once before you have landed.
Do not attempt to parachute onto the route of your own tanks, even if the starting point of the tanks is about to change to a new location. Because many tank players refuse to open their eyes, in some cases their tanks will damage your paratrooper box through collisions.
As an opponent, if you see the enemy’s paratrooper box landing nearby, and if the situation permits, you can waste some ammunition and directly destroy the enemy’s paratrooper box by shooting, in order to prevent the enemy from obtaining other supplies after landing.

PS:If you like to use paratroopers to lay mines, you need to be cautious of some friendly players. They will randomly target your location and use mortars, aircraft, tanks, AT guns, air strikes, and artillery fire at will.
While using explosives to affect you, assist the enemy in clearing the minefield you have laid.

I have even witnessed many players deliberately making repeated attempts to shoot/attack other players and the landmines they had laid. Even firing at or throwing objects at friendly mines, friendly tanks, friendly aircraft and friendly troops
