like infantry squad but with less soldier and without any other specialists except engineers ?
with the same grind value for normal squads ?
or custom at squad but 1 at gunner and engi available ?
like, if you reach a certain xp you can spent it to create some custom squad rather than gunner limitation ?
Since this is not wt like just vehicle game and infantry gives us huge amount of combinations for customization
I think this also can solve the combined factions little bit
like;
i want to fully immerse myself as playing italy so
i created some italian squads with current unfirom assets to use them rather than german ones
if its not harmfull for games economy i think this is doable.

This is basically how the squad system already works, except that it (thankfully) limits players’ ability to just spam the same type of unit over an over.

I am not talking about squad type limit. Im talking about creating custom squads with limited specialist and numbers rather than already existing squads within the game itself.

would love to get arty fire abilities for radioman on another custom made squad that is not a radioman squad.
or get ampulets on non flametrooper squads.
but i doubt df will be capable of doing that in all honesty.

Like : 7 men infantry squad with 1 specialist optional
Or assaulter but with just 2 assaulter soldier max limit and 1 other optional specialist
Also high xp/tickets spending obligation to creating a squad
This way people will not abondon grinding current squads but can try different weapons sets
For eg.
Also option to choose nationality
I prefer giving bolt action without bayonets to sniper like long distance engager soldier but i would like to try it in a different setting for different soldier.
Like: create 7 men british custom infantry with all having ross rifles

we shouldnt have to create a new squad just to get access to nationality of soldiers.
beside that, i just remembered that devs refused to allow players to buy squad that they didn’t had. nor creates one.
