In Confrontation, currently kills affect the tickets more than holding points. It’s a known issue. You can hold 4 points out of 5 and still lose.
Also you lose a lot if you have suicide pilots etc. They chase their kills and dont realize they hurt team more.
Capping really is to get some extra points. If you need to human wave to capture a point, chances are you are going to run out of people sooner than the defenders that lose a fraction of the men you do.
Probably because of “smart” rebalance changes in reinfocements amount for each side.
And also because of capturing points.
