It has the range advantage, better accuracy, more damage. Due to better accuracy it is harder to hit the legs and arms unlike PPSH.
Thats just my opinion, and the stats speak for themselves. PPSH is better than MP40 in game and IRL. But the MP40 had some advantages IRL and in game
The fact that even an upgraded 7.62 Tokarev cannot 3 shot a person at 100m and 150m, while the MP40 can is really impressive
mp40 is less likely to hit the legs than PPDS and PPSH are which means it has better accuracy
this is only true if proned. PPSH does have recoil despite popular belief…now what is causing this belief to spread? well it’s the playerbase’s instinct to pull down on their mouse and PPSH’s easy to control recoil since it mostly goes up as seen in this video firing PPSH41 35 mag - YouTube
Hmmm does the results stay the same every single time? Have you taken account dispersion? Also ppd34/38 has 71 rounds and mp40 has only 32, then of course ppd34/38 is more likely to “miss”. That’s why it’s better if you have a human element testing this hence 1v1.
Nope those guns are pretty accurate in mid range to which is a shame. Got head shotted with the first bullet last game from an PPD. Could got lucky to but i remember them being pretty accurate even on mid range when stealing them…ZH-29 is my new fav Bolt action rifle atm btw…So powerful <3 But Russians SVT overall is still the best since it got best handling with little kick and more ammo

Sounds like an vague analogy. You see what you see when handling it and more often then not the Russians can handle themselves in mid range with their smgs
the shit is the bullets in that analogy, so if you use enough bullets then something is bound to happen…also back in CBT germany kept winning most of the battles and the equipment up to lvl 18 remained mostly unchanged, so what happened between now and then to mark the PPDs as OP?

Friend, the early version of the ppsh at lvl2 you speak about is FAR from being as good as the lvl30 something ppsh… In fact even if the stats say otherwise, it feels like the first Russian smg has such WEAK damage per bullet (maybe the dmg drop per distance is higher than what the stats say) compared to any other smgs… yes it got a good rof, but it’s not amazing by any mean (Id take the mp38/40 any day over it) it’s decent when you obtain the first drum mag ppd though, now that slaps. but not before.
What hmmmmm? Salty that MP40 is more accurate, even tough stats and other players verify my claims?
If you look closely, PPD goes even to the other target, and please feel free to do this yourself

Strong agree, but moscow is definitely close.
Axis just needs some more players and a few more toys to complete their arsenal. Mainly PZIIIJ/1 and PZIIIL whom will kill the T50 just as easily as PZIV kills a T60.
Also i do think that axis should get a buff for once. Mainly what i would do is for the next event give axis moscow a rechambered to MP40 magazines MP41 (R) - PPSH41. This would fit perfectly into a event squad!
