maybe you are extremely biased towards the axis? also mag dump at 50 meters full auto while standing up and no recoil perks with using 3 star ppd(drum) mp40. what do i know i only play every faction

Doesn’t the conversion of ammo depends on the player skill and mannerisms itself? I always burst fire at long range and can conserve my ammo that way. PPSHs/PPDs is pretty easy to control as well. For the mp40 yes it maybe accurate (doesn’t feel like it) but accuracy is useless if you’ll only put 1 bullet and the enemy with PPSHs put 4 bullets to you.

which i don’t usually do in game but unfortunately the game doesn’t give us a true accuracy card with distance include so it’s really the best we got also you said it yourself that 95% players are awful so why not show what the common man would do?

Thats not how it works.
The MP40 will put in 1 bullet while the PPSH will 2.
MP40 is better at long range, that is pretty obvious

I even did a poll on reddit a while back asking what the people actually thought.
It was a bit close but people think that the MP40 is superior at range
conversion is sometimes out of one’s control like wasting bullets without meaning too, but yeah it can be up to the player most of the time. MP40s are also easy to control as well. now what if those 4 bullets on the PPSH hits in the arms and legs? those deal much less damage a shot so having better accuracy is needed

from my experince the ppd and mp40 are roughly equal ar range(even more so now after the smg visual recoil nerf). but doesnt matter much in smg ranges +ppd has semi mode, which is easier than manually firing single rounds at its rof

both look similar, the semi mode evens out the accuracy/recoil advantage of the mp

How you unlock ppsh at level 2? Also machine gunner at level 2 whoa, we have ‘bit different’ tech tree for soviets…
Just shoot you bullet first. At cqb if you opponent start shooting first it dosnt matter if you use ppd/ppsh/mp40 or what ever. You wont just outgun him before he shots another round unless he misses.

We had this conversation way before, I even proposed a 1v1 of you using an mp40 and me PPSh. But in what way does the MP40 have the distance advantage?

That argument can be said for the mp40 as well, what if the 1 bullet hits the leg? can the mp40 user put more rounds faster than the PPSh wielder? My experience with the PPSh is that it literally has no recoil and mp40 kicks a little more, this comes from a maxed berlin campaign, you seriously cannot compare PPSh and Mp40.
