Why is the U-2 bomber a fighter and not an attack aircraft?

The premium U-2 bomber
clearly has an attack aircraft icon and its crew is assigned to an attack aircraft.

But its squad is listed as a fighter squad.

I remember seeing this fixed before,
but it doesn’t seem to have been fixed at all.
