Seriously why is the MP40 at level 14 on the Tunisian campaign personally i don’t see the point in using it over the berretta M1.

Other than the slightly faster reload utterly pointless to use over the Berretta M1 its essentially a downgrade.
Cant we just have Italian small arms on the Tunisian campaign instead of German small arms copy and paste there is already enough German weapons on the campaigns.
Same reason the Beretta M1918 is level 16 in Normandy. The devs are just using it to fill levels. Also, I suspect the devs did this to encourage players to use the M1 over the MP-40 for what they perceive as historical accuracy.
Why is the Thompson at 14 in Tunisia but 29 in Normandy? There needs to be a massive restructure because alot of things dont make sense

forgot the beretta m38/42 at lv26? the only decent smg for me is the ovp1918 once people have learned how to use is it is a death dispenser

Thing is there are plenty of other submachine guns that are in game they could of added instead of copy and pasting the mp40.
Its just lazy.
I am fairly sure the MP40 is substantially more accurate, which makes it perform better at range. At least in my experience with the two, I do actually favor the MP40. The issue of course is that they don’t actually tell you what the accuracy is, so its hard to get a good feel for it. That, and a .5 second faster reload should not be dismissed, that sort of thing does matter.
OVP is defiently my favorite of the Tunisia smgs, but the poor accuracy, small mags, and slow reload does mean the beretta m38/42 is a more well rounded weapon.
hmm id rather have 8 more rounds that a .5 faster reload also i do prefer the iron sights on the Beretta M1 also it has ever so slightly less recoil.
there is a trick for OVP and the berettaM18, if you lie on the ground they lose the recoil and the dispersion and become lasers like fg42II
Not the worst offender but there’s stuff like why DP-27 was level 20 in Moscow but level 9 in Berlin despite its the same gun or the Panzerfaust 60 where its level 6 in Berlin but level 30 in Normandy which is one of the biggest gaps in terms of level requirement alongside the M1 Garand in Normandy and Tunisia(level 7 vs level 25).
Different campaigns have different tech levels. Berlin gets stuff earlier because berlin is later in the war, and the “top shelf” stuff was more common. It only really doesn’t make sense when you compare the campaigns with each other, in most cases. The MP40 is weird because it is arguably a downgrade from the weapon that gets unlocked earlier in the same campaign.
