Because they are all tied to one campaign. That’s it. This game is a roller coaster for campaigns. Some are good(where everyone plays) and others are bad (ghost towns/just ai). So when a campaign turns into a bad campaign and nobody plays it, those premium squads just collect dust. Once DF gets the point and all campaigns and unlocks should be tied together somehow, then I will start purchasing more.

Wish I shared your views on the game but I’m affraid my innocence was lost long time ago.
For the record, the REAL reason you shouldn’t buy premium squads is that they get overclassed and overshadowed by the next set of newly released meta breaking premium squads.
1st was sum Premium Tanker Bundle
2nd was the Firepower Moscow MG Bundle
Now it’s the Flamethrower Tunisia Bundle

To be fair, some premium squads have continued to define the meta for an astonishing amount of time (looking at you Panzer IV E with HEAT).
Reminds me of worlds of tonks.
“Oh, you want to be competitive at high lvl? Well we got you covered, you can buy gold ammunition for real muneeeh!!!”

Fair.
My reasons:
-most are overpriced
-most are uninteresting rehashes of gear already in the tree. Why would I want to buy another generic mosin or G43. I could see if they had a notable gimmick like the double mag MP 40 but they don’t.
There are some good squads like the lebel squad and lewis gun squad but they’re few and far between.

because, again, it was an actual unique and interesting gun instead of selling the mosin, StG, or g43 for the 5th time
they’re just low-effort additions either to A fill in space for a cooler gun as the other faction’s equivalent premium, or B attract tryhards who think buying an OP gun will make them good.
I mean they nerf the Rifle-like Premium mgs in Moscow with a weapon patch to make way for the Heavy Premium ones, then they nerfed those with another weapon patch to make way for the AR Premium squads, then they nerf the ARs with another weapon patch to make way for the Premium Flamethrower ones.
Heck it got so ridiculous that I can even make and sing the above to you in a lullaby.
P.S : I bet if the trend continues whoever is taking those “gameplay” decisions can even make people buy a Premium 2H Melee only squad and still have both parties be truly proud of themselves.
