Keofox already said that there arent going to be many paid unlocks, only a few. I i had to guess it would be the romanian or hungarian squads.
Medics arent locked. I doubt radio operators are gonna be locked. Hell i think you believe that troopers are gonna be fucking locked?
Wait for it to come out, then complain. The game already gives F2p players more than they could dream of. 4 campaigns. Soon to be 5, sure the last will have some restrictions, but it will be fine. I believe in the developers.

I understand the point but all of you are speculating on the assumption that they have decided to kill more than 90% of their playerbase with this move, and I highly doubt that they would do such a thing especially when the fps market is saturated with alternatives, more than valid and less expensive than enlisted
or at least I see it so then it depends on personal experiences but making excessive alarmism does not help as you said we will know in this month so let’s relax and wait I have full confidence that it will be perfectly balanced for both free players and access players

First I was never complaining! Second, throwing (less) money on it is not a fix lol. You were able to do this before, just unlock the campaign levels with gold.

Damn for 30 bucks you can get Hell let Loose or Post Scriptum when they are on sale, and that is a one time purchase for everything unlocked and everything that will come lol.

In all seriosnes enlisted gives you 4 campaigns full f2p. 4 different theaters. And the 5th one is also gonna be playable for free, and i doubt there will be many unlocks locked.

It’s a about a good time the dev start to think about the rework of the campaign system.
It’s not an easy task for I have no idea how they could do it.
Japan would have been so great… It looks like it’s beginning to rain.
As a f2p player I kinda agree with a lot of this, but I myself believe it’s pointles to try and write these sorts of posts before we actually know what’s gonna be in this campaign. Who knows, maybe it’ll be good? The possibillity is very small, but it is there.
Actually, no I don’t think so, as it seems medics will have a pre-set backpack, so no ammo pouch. (Thus making them a wanna-be assaulter that only new players use)
I myself like Tunisia. The maps are neat and the weapons don’t feel too copy-pasty, as though a lot of them are on Normandy, they are also high level unlocks which makes it worth it if you’re interested in British stuff and haven’t grinded Normandy fully yet. The only thing that kills it for me is the nonexistent playerbase.

It isn’t a solution. It’s tacit acknowledgement that there is a problem and an attempt to make money on not solving it. I want interesting and meaningful progression, not a way to skip it.
Even if I didn’t want any progression, this clear separation of players into plebs and masters disgusts me. I don’t want to buy that privelege when paying and non-paying players basically get two different games.

And that is my main fear with the new campaign. We will see how it turn out. Above everyone has already said enough about eventual imbalances.
What we know for sure is that paying people will have with the new system 4-8x the progress! I mean they could also have lowered the XP you need by four, that would have helped everyone kek. I know, totally crazy idea. But think about it, how many f2p would it have brought in.

4 campaigns should be max, even tho I really still want to see the pacific … still there are already not enough players on each team… some campaigns are extremely one sided with active players.
However they still could merge stalingrad and moscow together later, meaning they could pump out many more campaigns as long as they merge them eventually together, which can be a nice thing, because the beginning of a new campaign has some unique gameplay to it, like everyone using low lvl gear.
That being said, xp bonus for already unlocked stuff is much needed.
Campaigns have always been one-sided. Even when there was only one campaign. It has little to do with the number of campaigns or the number of players. To completely oversimplify the issue, the attacking side always gets fewer players unless there are also other large factors at play.
Player distribution between campagins and factions fluctuates greatly over time (even throughout the day), and one side is almost always clearly dominant. This could have been somewhat mitigated by the matchmaker, but in Enlisted you just get bots. Bots are thrown at every problem.
If Hungarian & Romanian squad is under full access it would be bad for the campaign population.
Because it’ll basically make Stalingrad campaign just a Berlin with Moscow equipment. It’s okay for premium or rare stuff like flamethrower tank to be exclusive. But, there will be no incentive for F2P play to grind the campaign if they can’t grind some squad that MAKE Stalingrad unique & different than other campaign, e.g. Romanian/Hungarian.
Large portion of Enlisted player is F2P, even with them we still have population problem sometimes. Now imagine the Stalingrad pop if F2P don’t want to play…Enlisted playerbase is not yet big enough to survive with just paying customer.
In conclusion, having Hungarian & Romanian squad/weapon under pay wall would be bad.
