I just notice this after going through last 3x News Posts,
As i was looking for the person whom replied from the store side of things, and was going to try and ask a question.
Which is
Will we ever get a Market Place?
as WT Has? to sell, say event vehicle’s, if you have never equipped them, etc
So if they where not removed
My thread would of been
Will We Ever Have A Market Place
with a @ to person from store, and then all forum would/could of had a say
I guess, though, that they’re going to handle Enlisted items the same way as with War Thunder…
Meaning, we WON’T be able to sell anything we currently own, and only future coupons for items that haven’t been redeemed on any account will be allowed for trade.
I am not optimistic that a warthunder-style market would be a good thing, it only encourages predatory business practices. If I understand how it works correctly, people sell old event rewards for purchasable gaijin coins.
This game has the potential to develop in a different direction than warthunder. Warthunder events are one and done, players who missed out event items have no other avenue than to buy at high market prices or buy random loot boxes. Devs have hinted that old enlisted event squads and items will return in some form in the future, meaning that players of enlisted may simply have to wait to get old event items instead of buying them on the market. We have already seen the return of the red pps-42, hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
My point is, if i do this current Event, i will have stuff that i will never use, as i don’t run those Campaigns etc
So i like to be able to trade, for like a event squad i wasn’t around for, if one could trade, if never used ,
something like that, or you wont/ get to be at a lvl, to use it etc
Just idea
No trade!
Wanna get scammed, account hijacked, or even email hijacked?
Wanna see tons of AFK player during match because they are merchants’ resource bots?
Wanna get game ruined and in game price skyrocketing?
Wanna experience paid to work for game?
then go for it
Simply because if their reply start be confused and different from each other this generete confusion and make more hard a correct user-dev team comunication, so is better delete those replies
I’ve seen the marketplace running along War Thunder for years, and I’ve been actively using it.
First rule is, you CAN’T sell “used” stuff. So after earning a reward in an event, you EITHER use it or sell it on the market.
Although a parallel “market game” does indeed exist, it doesn’t actually affect the main game any different than regular event grinding, for the above reason.
What I can tell you for sure is, since WT landed in the marketplace, I never had to spend real money on the game again. Playing events and selling surplus rewards (with some care to market dynamics - patience is the key) has been enough to fuel my premium purchases ever since.
As such, I see the market as an opportunity for free players with enough time to play.
