There is no new major update, no merge, no matchmaking fixes, a bit more content, yes, I love rifles in games, would get those new ones, and I dont mind to wait extra time for better quality content, but in the sense of patches and stuff the extention made no sense.
they expected to be finished with everything and release the big update by now and didnt plan any new content for that reason. then they noticed they collectively messed up hard and now there is nothing of substance to post.
I don’t think there ever was a BP that wasn’t extended, so it’s a tradition.
They actually made everything in the store twice as expensive, when the packs were sold in THE LAST SALE, abolishing both Japan and Stalingrad prem access, latter suffered from removing half content from tech tree for no reason, months has passed since then, bp extention, still not even br tables posted, only progression, and I think they should have rank matchmaking system rather than br, how badly could one mess up at that point, was that 10 rank table genuine then?
I am also confused, the fact that a lot of my clan including me are somewhat let down and kinda meh about this update, no comms either means either new major is imminent or Gaijin devs have been so busy on this progression and BR MMing… forgot about other content.
i dont even take the store serious enough to buy anything there. embarrassingly overpriced plunder with lazy product design. the game could actually produce content that i gladly would buy for 50€, but not the stuff right now and the biggest problem is the unsafe future of the game. a game that doesnt strongly promise to be going on for at least 3 more years can not expect people to buy double digit items.
My guess is that the BP was extended as some gold order weapon wasnt fully done yet or buggy.
Stalingrad didnt lose any levels but the paid levels were hidden for everyone without the access packs.
Its naive to expect a great content update if the big rework is looming somewhere on the horizion as (like hinted at in some topics somewhere) the content will come bundeled with the rework to fill some gaps.
Personaly i do prefere it this way as the devs should never rush an update with the potential to wipe our progression (and cause a pissed of mass exodus of current players) and kill the game with it.
then thats just extremely sad, it took them months for the battlepass and they still couldnt add a working gun so they had to delay? that just sounds like theara are a grand total of 2 devs working on the game
No doubt its outer garbage and I am basically too Third World to afford those 60 bucks squads, which are not even worth it really even for Gaijin coins, I mean in general, it is bad for the economy, less better deals - less customers, noone shall buy overpriced food in grocery stores just for the fun of it, here is the same, both sides are basically in loss for no reason.
Only naive person there are you, do you really think 3d modelers, level designers, animators, audio, guys suddenly stopped working on new weapons, vehicles, maps and are working on the merge? What would they need to do? Absolutely nothing we already have everything ready when it comes to assets even uniforms. Only people that are working on the merge are coders and project managers, rest is working on new content and this season of BP is proving me right, while BP had a small delay their events had no such issues and we had new squads /w weapons and vehicles.
The reason was quite obvious. To create those very high quality new BP skins.
yes,you are right.
So what did coders and project managers do in so many days ? Is it War Thunder’s economic system? What makes them procrastinate and draw pizza pies for the players when the wheat hasn’t been sown?Or why is it enlisted players who have to suffer from coders and project managers and War Thunder(From their transference)?
