Why does an anti-tank mine detonate like a satchel charge when struck by gunfire?

Budget cuts unfortunately. Every time you place a mine someone has to dig under it and wait for it to send a signal to them to throw the tnt bomb out from the ground.

used to be the case on TNT blocks as well.

â€Ļ but for some reasons they changed it.

and now only happens on AT & AP mines.

â€Ļ which should either happen to both, or none for the sake of consistency.

Guess I so rarely use AT mines that I never had the chance to do see this.
