Why do you have to merge six battles
Soviet troops in Moscow, Stalingrad and Berlin shared weapons development
British and American armies in Tunisia, the Pacific and Normandy shared weapons development
The German army of the five battles shared weapons development
(From poor machine translation)
I think you missed a lot, mate. Maybe read the past announcements in the first period of 2023.
- Lack of players (though not directly stated by them)
- Campaign system is not sustainable anymore for the future.
- Campaigns stretching the playerbase.
What they’re testing is so bad that I’m upset
This will ruin enlisted
Whats worse than boring unfun botfarms?
Just try Tunisia Allies or Berlin Allies and tell me the current format is not already ruined.
but you just address that by just removing TWELVE separate queues (6 campaigns with ability to queue for each side) spread across THREE different servers (EU, EEU and US) and making people queue allies or axis, more or less. Keep the tech tree though
Also no fan at all of coming changes with merge.
Right now, I can select the campaign and know which armies fight there.
Easy and good.
After merge, I can select the army but get a random campaign?
Terrible idea.
I dont like random, I like to choose.
Also, right now campaigns are devided into levels.
Easy to see and understand.
After merge, we get all this bullshit about tiers, BR and all else…
Select weapons from tier this, get enemies from tier that or that…
I dont give a crap about all that and dont even want to see it.
Too complicated, not easy to overview and just a terrible idea.
I just wanna click ‘join the game’ and have fun.
Also - and I have not yet read this from anybody else, so I will be the first to ‘confess’ - I actually like the current mix of enemies.
Some battles are very difficult, some are normal, some are easy.
A nice mix. I like it.
I dont mind at all sometimes facing noob enemies, gives me a change to relax and enjoy the game more, the scenery, maybe try some funny things or show off some special weapons.
I cant do this when battling a super strong enemy.
I dont want every battle to be against only equally strong enemies.
Some should be stronger, some the same and some weaker.
Sorry but thats how I see it.
I love the game and really hope I still will after the merge, but right now I am not sure.
Why do you think bot farms will be improved by merge?
Now the Soviet is dominated by the Germans in Berlin. After the merger, they were just changed to be dominated by the BR5 Germans.
Because in the past most Soviets simply hide with other Tier V stiff in Moscow and SG. Now they cant because its unified and Soviets cant dominate as woth T-34 as they did in the past. Soviets High End isnt that bad, but not as easy as killing Panzer 3s with KV-1s.
Only issue are Western Allies which can be fixed by simply giving us Pershings and M36.
didn’t the dev told something about campaign weight or something? like, if you build your slot with pacific squads you’re more likely to get pacific maps etc?
though now that someone points it out, i am now interested in a dedicated PVE mode.
(Which is kinds current game)
Play custom battle.
well, currently there’s just makeshift PVE because not enough player in a campaign. also custom battle that you make yourself is just 5v5 with random chance of someone joining the enemy team and then shooting you with sherman calliope tank, probably while laughing too.
so a dedicated PVE mode (that’s basically what’s the newbie gonna get for a couple first match anyway) for after the merge sounds like a good idea now.
that’s tunisia allies? anyway, i don’t see tunisia axis players whining back when everyone else and their uncle play tunisia allies and dogpile them.
Well, they did. The problem is not about Tunisia axis or allies, its about the player imbalance. Being axis or allies is not relevant, it does only show how bad the campaign system currently is.
Yeah, how else can you prepare newbies to play against other players by letting them only face bots with down syndrome that cant even use tanks and planes?
