I made a post on the issues site but they sent me here. Please make it optional to reload when switching to another soldier, sometimes you lose a second or two when you could return fire instead of getting shot. I don’t know much about how a server works, or counting cartridges in the magazine locally, but an option that could also be added would be something that runs the reload when the magazine percentage is less than, say, 50%, but please make it optional. Thanks.

In regards of soldier reloading when u switch to them is mostly unlucky that u change to them and they happen to ran out of ammo while the latter regarding AI reloading was implemented in the
Update but only when the AI are outside of combat
AI only reloads after 30 seconds passed since they were last controlled by a player, can’t say I’ve seen my soldiers instantly reload when switching to them

He might be also bw refering to cycling the bolt on bolt actions. This still happens ALOT when swapping to bots and is quite frustrating
