Oh, yeah they made changes quite a long time ago that made it so custom games gives very little experience. I never play customs so I’m not very familiar with the rules in general there. Sounds like you have play any nation option selected. The toggle for it is right above the game start button. Make sure that’s off, but it does give extra 50% experience when it’s on.
I would say stay in br2 for better games. 5 is always hectic, and yeah, playing against real players in real games is much more difficult than playing against a bunch of bots and/or people who aren’t good enough at the game for real matches. Not sure what to tell you there. You’ll get better though if you keep at it
How can I control the br limit? It just seems to dumo me any old game when I click the red button.

You’re br (battle rating) is determined by the equipment you have in your squads. Each gun, tank, and plane is given a rating, it say what the piece of eq is on the gears’s icon at bottom in roman numerals. It will also show what the soldier’s br is on the soldier’s icon, and will also show what the squad’s br is on the squad icon. Your rating (what matches you get put in) is the highest br in equipment. Meaning if all your stuff is br2, you’ll be br2, but if you have all br2 stuff with one singular br4 item, you’ll be placed in br4. So, after making your line up, double check the red game start button to see what matches you’re going to be playing before pressing start. Br2 will be put in matches br1-3, br3 will be put in matches br2-4, br4 will be matches br3-5, br5 will be br4&5.
Again, make sure the toggle for join all/play all nations is off if you want to play a specific nation.

The highest level stuff I have is briv (tank and a few guns) but rest are lower level stuff as it takes ages to get the silver to kit everyone out with high end equipment.
