Why do a lot of premium players underperfom?

They have better gear, no need to care ingame sources too much yet still f2p players are performing lot better often. I never consider myself top noch player but premiums i encountered were really not plying so well, why ?

Premium squads are for the lazy bourgeoisie that are not fit to be the heroes of the motherlands!

that is like asking why all taller persons dont play basketball better than some shorter ones. some premium players are good, some are not. some f2p players are good, some are not. most players in this game are just shit…

The thing is that a lot of the premium kit isn’t really that great, at least that’s been my personal experience, and if you look at the statistics for it usually normal equipment that you normally upgrade is going to actually perform better than some kit that you bought for 50 bucks.

The only thing that buying a premium squad actually seems to get you is that you might get equipment earlier in the campaign that you would normally by grinding.

Also it kind of depends on what you want to consider doing well, I often see players during matches that have very high kill counts but they also have very high death counts, often these are to the detriment of their own team, I mean they have a decidedly negative kill death ratio. I think I read somewhere where every squad is worth seven tickets no matter what size it is.

I have a few Premium Squads but I don’t use them as grinding machines. Whenever I do use them I use them for the novelty, like I just felt like playing X.

several of us who were in the 1% of the last event have several premium squads

simple.

Most already maxed everything and can simply play for fun. Which often isn’t optimal. When they DO tryhard thought…
First they won’t use premium squads, secondly, they will wreck you and you’ll think they aren’t premium because of the first point. :stuck_out_tongue:

Or…

Is your post only created out of jealousy? lots of those, … pretty much EVERY single ones of those against premiums, in the end, are jealous.

Why else waste time posting about it? if they suck, shoot them :man_shrugging:

Nope
Out of frustration
Our team got 4 premiums today in squad match.
Enemy gear was not so good overall.
They built nothing, and we lost the match. Only 1 one of them was in first 3
In Another match we got 3 prem yet they were too passive or just camped without using snipers
In 3 engagements against prem planes two days ago, they dont even try to dodge bullets in dogfight, just continued to fly like a duck waiting to be shot

Im am looking for challenge not jealousy
And " directly driving stug 3 into hordes of enemies rather than neutralising enemy tank that shredding your allies then got blown up by tnt unclimacticaly" isnt a sense of entertainent for me

Are you sure?

Because those without premiums are capable of the same stupidity, as gentleman @Bigote0070 said. You just targeted those because they had premium squads (they stand out).

Still seems like jealousy, that lead to frustration. But meh.

Again, just shoot them. Or desert if you got a shitty team, premium or not.

I didnt target anyone, i am confused about that theyr not using their potential. And these are not isolated cases.

Neither are the stuarts or t60 charging ahead at late tier tank. Those are f2p you know, yet they blow up stupidly… quite often.

Premiums =/= talent. Just means a different fancy looking squad, that most of the time (pretty much always) are inferior to top free unlockable stuff.

Again, you just noticed them because they stand out.

Yes. If we can easily get to the highest level, we will lose the motivation to play (as in Stalingrad before) and many of these players cannot really practice their skills: they just use better equipment to make up for their skills.
Of course, I have seen some players with strong skills who use premium teams just for fun

“Et voila”

Once you’ve maxed up things, why not enjoy the game? it’s what premiums are about… because they don’t really make a player better, or stronger.

The majority (if not all) of the good players that I 'played against or with did not buy Premium squads to get an advantage.
It’s all about novelty of unique weapon, squads, outfits, nostalgia, XP-boost or supporting the game.

Until only the most recent premium squads, none even came close to being meta choices. They functionally helped you to earn more resources and level up more quickly while using interesting and different weapons, but were strictly inferior to all end-game squads. This is generally still true, with the most recent premiums starting to eek out a preferred choice among players that are willing to sacrifice significant utility and versatility to have one extra machine gun or assault rifle.

That’s why the short-lived second weapon slot on premium and event squads was so warmly received, it was just enough to make the squads competitive while maintaining the unique appearance and xp bonuses.
