Why did you prefer an event degradation rather than its progression?

Previous iteration of the Zombie event gave us:

  1. Heroes with super abilities (including even engineer tools)
  2. Fair half free + half paid rewards battlepass with ability to get hero character as part of real squads
  3. ~5 wide open space maps?
  4. Boses O_o
  5. Hidden stashes with bonus event rewards.
  6. different missions
  7. Escape using APC
  8. Event progressing according to battle pass

And what did we get with this new iteration?

  1. Removal of all fun features from the previous iteration
  2. 1 free vs 3 paid event guns + senseless paid-only flamethrower squad…
  3. Limited ammo per bought in-game event gun
  4. Bigger focus on close combat(meanwhile game still have issues with bullet/melee hits registration)
  5. Shadow inroduction of game start delay after leave (meanwhile still allowing to start the game with 3 out of 4 players connected…)

In conclusion: it feelis like game producer(or someone else, who is responsible for making decisions) think more about fast monetization of the current state of the game, instead of introducing something interesting(not just something new) or fiixing well known issues.

Maybe some Helper could explain to the boss that team should improve existing mechanics or make some interesting and balanced new features first and only then introduce some fancy-meaningful-balanced premium stuff with expectations to get some money?

This isn’t new… however why they choose to enforce this for PVE events and not the PVP ones which i actually abused is beyond me.

cause people like pve coops.

but as usual, someone struggles to understand what made the first three modes popular.

people were honestly hoping and thinking was some sort of a foundation for ww2 PVEs with set of objectives ( similar to earth shield )

but no.
let’s get rid of most of it ( the coop aspect, the traversability and " open world " aspect of approaching your way while exploring for more weapons / crates ) and make it dull.

they literally took inspiration from a mod and made their own spinn with it.
which it’s okay, but not what people were really expecting.

especially since, pves only happens for halloweens…
