It makes them really annoying to use on most maps now even when defending or attacking.

I suggest you repost a proposal thread with a poll on whether the engagement distance should be 50m or 60m. Currently, APCs have been nerfed into the ground and can no longer flank effectively. They’ve become oversized liabilities, even worse than spawn points.
