Why axis players can't defend

If I’m an engineer on defense, I try to fortify 1 cap ahead.

But this guy was just suicide-rushing the greyzone as an attacker to cap before defenders actively sprinting to it could get there.

I had a simmilar situation yesterday.
Next cap was tip top fortified, I had no building slots left. We lost the objective, one madlad rushed into my point in 10s and capped it before anyone could use my buildings to defend. And just before him I had an arty and CAS on top of me that cleared most of my fortyfications.

I’ve found this is the only way to remotely have any time to get defenses up.

@VoyoMayPL B A L A N S E. Like I said, meta is here, it’s never gonna change unless there are some serious changes.

Meta is 75% psychological. Germany went from always winning to being trash without any balance changes because Normandy getting added shuffled the community.

nuking everything with planes and backcapping is hardly psychological.

Possible solution to help about that?

So it’s just axis players. Right… You better play allies then.

Well, there are problems with some maps true thing right?

I think having a discussion about balance is important, but it gets rly difficult when one side is just too dumb to play the objective. The fact that 30% of my games I’m the ONLY one even building a radio is giving me a bad stroke : D

I win a lot more with soviets, thanks :slight_smile:

I’d get hedgehogs in the gates on Normandy about 50% of the time that I have a tank that survives long enough to get to them!

Then my problem is I have to dismount to clear them - none of my team will help!

There are 3 spots on wall that can be destroyed by tank shells, tnt charges or plane bombs.
You don’t need to dismantle nothing. You just need to drive extra 30 meters either left or right.

Czeck hedgehogs are, imo, useless. Judging the time that takes to build one, map design and how easy is to bypass.

Driving sideways is an invitation to get smacked in the flank - it is actually simpler to dismantle the obstacles!

No sir. You have a wall covering you and actually diferent ground heights. I invite you to next time you play d day, you take a closer look on the cracks on the wall.

Shoot them or tnt them. And you can have extra 3 sides to go in with ur tank.

Jokes on you I put AT mines on the otherside.

:joy::joy: Got me there

But, no one seams to use said passages on regular basis to justify a mine usage.

Again. Hedgehogs are useless.

On topic : And as many others as op crys for help. Why don’t you, be the guy that build said spawn points, ammo boxes or cover ur points? It’s easy xp for you. Be that guy. Don’t ask others to play how you want.

I main engineers and always build that stuff lol.

Hedgehogs? Ewww

Second part was to answer original poster. As I didn’t did so.

I know the cracks in the wall - and axis guns (in tanks or AT guns) on the hilltops look ever the walls - which do not cover the whole of the approach paths in the first place.

I know… That I have to agree with ya. I m usually the one camping on the left when alieds capture the first point x) easy spot to farm enemy tanks x)

Actually that spot (on the axis left up by the gun emplacement?) is where I kill more Pz 4’s than in any other game/scenario :slight_smile:

And it is just axiomatic in a jumbo - keep facing the enemy - you’re heaps better off clearing the obstacles from the road with your front armour facing forwards and flanks covered by walls and bunkers, than moving sideways.

You can dismount just 1 guy (order rest back into the tank), and clear them from cover from behind the walls.
