I dont think I played a single mission where Us is defending and not attacking ? Why make maps where Us is always attacking ? This is just dumb and doesnt make sense.
a) Because it’s D-Day, not See Lowe
b) there is one assault mission where germans attack. Not much but it exists.
it’s not assault but invasion and it’s so rare that you are more likely to see the counterpart where US is attacking
It’s D-Day. What else could germans do?
well only one map is actually called D-day and most maps are inland fighting
Yeah, they could have been counter attacking on other maps but it means that points have to go in reverse order and maps need to be designed for that. IMHO Normandy has the worst maps.
oh yeah for invasion/assault normandy is the worse but conquest maps are more bearable than moscow conquest
I’ve started with Moscow and got to like tanks and fixed mg deployments, fortified positions by engineers. On Normandy I kind of hate them as there are so few places where it can be done.
Rarely seen mg guys assaulting points on Moscow, on Normandy it’s like the only place where you see them. I woukv like to get mg hands on mg42, but if there is no place to use it besides cqb, then I rather pass.
lol but yeah i never said they were good, just more bearable
Time for some alternate history where germans attacked the US beaches
That’s one thing I really appreciate about the Moscow campaign-- Only the city assault map has fixed sides. Maybe the new Assault map does too but I’ve only played it twice.
Keeps things fresh without having to switch sides.
Dumb comment, there were lots of german counterattacks once they moved past the beach. Its not like the germans were just camping or retreating the whole war.
