Why are drivers the only ones who can drive the tech tree apcs?

Hear me out.

Any soldier can drive a tank by taking over the spot. Any soldier can drive the bus in italy, or the boats in the pacific, or the planes on airfield in normandy.

But somehow, unless I have this one dude who’s somehow specially trained to drive a truck still alive, I can’t move my truck. I can’t even respawn the same APC squad back into my old truck to move it.

Make it make sense.

Edit: There’s no reason for this, either. You can’t park them closer to the point than you could build a rally. The only differences are an extra button press to get out after spawning, and they don’t make the radio noise. Oh, and the ones that make money have guns, of course.

Cuz the rest of the squad are alcoholic so they need a certified driver to carry them on the road

Joke aside, H&G has no such limitation, and funn enough enemy can steal the vehicle for the funni

I assume it was so that nobody can steal it. I think iy should be assigned so only the owner can drivew it

I tried the truck and I ordered the APC soldier to stand away from the vehicle. I still could drive around using different soldier.

Just wondering, if you have this turned to ON?, and if it has anything to do with problems?

I just tried this, and it doesn’t work, can’t be in the driver seat with anyone but a driver, and he’ll ignore orders once everyone else is in the truck.
