Whole campaign map battles

If you look at all the maps in enlisted they are huge and are mostly unused for example look at the battle of Moscow battle map. In order to see what I am talking about go to the battle map then interact and zoom out you will see that the maps are actually massive but we only play on a small part. I suggest they allow you to play on the whole map in a different game mode with squads and 75-100 players and 10 aircraft and 20 tanks Have one game mode call conquests 15 objectives spread through out the map.

Then have another mode called Battle lines where the front line extends across the map the front line starts towards whichever side is attacking and have several objectives spread across the front line and when an objective is captured have the front line move up in that section only because they you could surround the enemy by capturing several objectives behind the enemy and surrounding them and have a pocket of resistance except no troops can spawn in the pocket because there surrounded and they can’t use spawn beacons you could also have it where the side defending could counter attack to free them.

I would suggest leaving the whole map mostly in bounds for both team because then you could sneak behind enemy lines and ambush tank units and units infantry going to support the enemy defense or attack.

Now for spawn point of course the defending team would have unlimited and the attack team could have 7,500 - 10,000because there is 100 players in the match and when they capture an object( remember there are several spread across the front line) they should get 500 respawn points to encourage them to capture other objectives along the front line. Also make it where if they capture a object that has been cut of aka surrounded make it give them 1,000 respawn this will encourage them to cut of objectives and surround them. I think this would particularly help the Berlin map to seem more realistic because Germans could stay hold up in some building as they did they could also ambush Soviet tanks as they please implement this.

As much as I like massive battles, the devs said that what we have now is more or less a sweetspot performance-wise.
Maybe as the game matures, the performance will be improved, but I don’t think we will get to a point where we can have 100+ squads with 10 planes and 20 tanks simultaneously and running smoothly for both PC and consoles.

Oh yes… but there would be a steady increase in house fires

Massive battles like this are a nice dream. But in reality this would likely convert most people’s mid-high range PC’s and Consoles into mini nukes so yeah. Not really a viable option atm. One can dream tho one can dream…

Hell let loose tried doing what you’re describing and they did not have much success. The issue you have is that there are simply not enough players at 15 per side (HLL had 50 and no bots) to give you the desired “intensity” of combat if you spread the points out. What they found out is that having too many objectives spread the teams out so much that you effectively had a whole lot of minor skirmishes and peekaboo fights all over the map with sectors being continually captured and re-captured. Decisive wins were rare and ppl just ran the timer down.

Irrespective of some differences in playstyle between the two games, the run and gun mentality borne of years of COD, MW and BF series prevails and its hard to balance ppls expectations when you slow the game down.

Through the concentration of the game into sequential objectives, but with enough maneouvre room for players to have options in their avenues of approach both games (HLL and Enlisted) have evolved a similar formulaic approach for the concentration of their playerbase at the point of contact.

500kg x 10?

Would be nice but as usual it’s sad that devs still have to cater to the masses who play games on potatoes.

Maybe not 100 but 50 maybe that will be more manageable.

If you don’t cater to the masses then you don’t make any money … that’s kind of the idea

That would certainly work, but Gaijin would need to re-work their architecture to support a 50 or more player game. Not sure if this is feasible atm, particularly if you consider the optimisation issues for what is a reasonably dynamic game.
A reasonable reason to open up maps will be when more transport options are available. They are already tinkering with this in some of the maps across all the campaigns, where you can jump into trucks and kubelwagens etc… When the HTs come in you might see a clean up of the maps, that will at least provide you with the effect of space.
Gaijin has this terrible habit of dumping wrecks on all their maps, which are simply an annoyance to AFV trafficability, given that there will be enough wrecks from player driven vehicles soon enough. I’d like to see this addressed sooner than later as well.
