While there's still time to correct mistake. Semiauto nerf update

This update didn’t quite make sense
Some weapon that should get affected, don’t get affected. and some weapon that feels like they shouldn’t, do get affected.

So here’s my suggestion while the update still fresh.

semiauto rifle w/o fire selector

  • All semiauto rifle that fire full powered cartridge (mostly those who deals 12 damage) should have the current rof (200-250 rpm).

Semiauto carbine w/o fire selector and semiauto assault rifle

  • semiauto carbine (M1 carbine) & semiauto assault rifle (VG1-5) should have their current rof increased to 300-350 rpm (or something like that). Reason is to make they more worth picking up and they don’t fire full powered cartridge.

Weapon with fire selector for semiauto and fullauto

  • weapon with fire selector to semiauto should have 2 rof. One for semiauto and one for fullauto. The rof for semiauto mode is the same as above and the rof for fullauto is the current rpm.
  • (this will effect FG42, M2 carbine, AVS 36, and other lmg with semiauto mode)

What you guys think? (there’s also SMG with fire selector but I’m too lazy)

What is certain is that the developers have no idea what users want.

The more they update, the more the game gets ruined.

I thought this game was really promising game, but
After they introduced random spread

It seems to be messing around with the game in a way that is difficult to understand.

And even the developers themselves are not interested in their games at all.
There seems to be no love.

LET’S SEE When the dev information was released yesterday
The photos were reversed and
made a mistake of uploading another picture.
These are people who even make mistakes that are difficult to make wrong.

And in the Tunisian campaign
axis in the level 25 photo are carrying mas rifles not gewhr. STILL

It seems like THEY don’t want to even think twice
Also, it seems that they don’t like double check that things are working properly.

so The result is now semi auto nerf.

I like your ideas.
But developers won’t like it.

I checked out some youtube videos to be sure how realistic is this update and i came to conslusion that devs overdid a bit in terms of ROF reduction. WW2 semi auto rifles could shoot faster than limit of this update.

For example G41 firing, check out 6:22, it’s more closer to fire rate before this update, of course, at cost of accuracy and recoil control: Live firing WWII G41 Gewehr - DUV Berlin Lubecker 1943 WaA214 Nazi self loading rifle (W) (M) G43 - YouTube

And 1:50 , G41 again, it’s pretty much sure G43 and SVT-40 works pretty much similar in terms of ROF: Facing G41 Nazi German WWII self-loading Gewehr 1943 DUV Berlin Lubecker Live firing range shooting - YouTube

First Gaijin game for you, eh?

I don’t usually watch the forums. This update makes me very disappointed. This update reminds me of the poor balance of other free World War II games. I hope that developers will not follow in the footsteps of that free World War II game.

I agree that the same ROF should be applied to semiauto w/o fire selector and semiauto with file selector (when they are in semiauto mode).

But 200-250 feels artificially low. You see that the bolt has cycled completely, yet you cannot press the mouse button (trigger).

Wargaming company is no different. They love fixing what is not broken.
