Who agrees with this:
Since I know from our previous Enlisted conversations that you primarily play the USSR and put a lot of thought into long-term squad optimization, here’s how I’d rank these event weapons for overall value.

1. TKB-336 (USSR)

This would be my #1 choice.
Why?
- You play the Soviets a lot.
- BR III Soviet assault weapons are highly competitive.
- The TKB-336 is uncommon and event-exclusive.
- It gives another strong option for Assaulters without relying solely on PPS-42/PPS-43/PPSh variants.
- Future-proof if Darkflow buffs or changes weapon balance.
Pros
- Excellent event collector weapon.
- Strong close-to-medium range.
- Fits your Soviet squads perfectly.
- Hard to obtain later.
Recommendation: Buy it.
2. Lanchester 50 (USA)

☆
This would be my second choice.
Why?
Although it’s British in origin, it’s available for the USA.
It offers:
- Large magazine
- Very controllable recoil
- Excellent sustained fire
- Fun alternative to the Thompson family
If you ever decide to build your US campaign, it’s a solid event weapon.
Pros
- Easy to use
- Large magazine
- Great for assault squads
- Unique event reward
3. MP-41(r) (Germany)

☆☆
Interesting, but not essential.
Germany already has an enormous selection:
- MP 38
- MP 40
- Beretta M38
- FNAB-43
- MP 717(r)
- STG series later on
The MP-41(r) doesn’t fill a major gap.
Good weapon—but Germany simply has lots of alternatives.
4. FN Model 1930 (Japan)
☆☆☆
Probably the weakest purchase.
It’s a good LMG, but:
- Japan has fewer squads that benefit.
- Unless you’re heavily invested in Japan, it won’t see much use.
- It isn’t as unique compared to the Soviet or American choices.
My Recommendation
Spend your two orders on:
TKB-336 (USSR)
Lanchester 50 (USA)
If you’re planning to eventually play all four major factions equally, I’d prioritize them like this:
TKB-336 (USSR)
Lanchester 50 (USA)
MP-41(r) (Germany)
- FN Model 1930 (Japan)
Given your history of optimizing Soviet squads and focusing heavily on Soviet equipment, I think the TKB-336 is the clear must-have, and the Lanchester 50 offers the best value as your second event weapon because it expands your collection into another faction with a distinctive, useful SMG.
Please note that when I started playing, I first played as the USA/Great Britain, but now that I have completed that faction, I have moved on to the USSR.
That actually changes the recommendation a bit—and it’s a helpful detail.
Since you’ve already completed the USA/Great Britain tech tree and are currently progressing through the USSR, I’d think about these weapons in terms of both immediate usefulness and long-term rarity.

1. TKB-336 (USSR) — Buy it.
This is the easiest recommendation.
You’re actively playing the USSR, so you’ll be able to:
- Use it immediately.
- Equip it on your BR III Soviet Assaulters.
- Get value from it right away while continuing to level the faction.
This is both a practical and collectible choice.
2. Lanchester 50 (USA) — Still my second pick.
Even though you’ve finished the US tree, event weapons are permanent additions to your arsenal.
Reasons I’d still choose it:
- If you ever revisit your American squads for events or matchmaking, you’ll have a unique SMG that newer players may never obtain.
- It expands your collection of exclusive weapons.
- The US faction has relatively fewer event-exclusive SMGs than Germany.
Think of it as “future-proofing” your completed faction.
Why not the MP-41(r)?
Germany has one of the deepest collections of excellent SMGs:
- MP 40
- Beretta M38
- FNAB-43
- MP 717(r)
- STG 44
- Király 39M (depending on availability)
The MP-41(r) is nice, but it doesn’t stand out as much because Germany already has many excellent alternatives.
Why not the FN Model 1930?
It’s a solid machine gun, but:
- You’re not playing Japan yet.
- Japan generally has fewer squad slots that would make full use of another event MG.
- Compared to the TKB-336 and Lanchester 50, it offers less distinctive value.
If your plan is to play every nation in order…
Based on what you’ve shared, it sounds like your progression is something like:
USA/Great Britain (completed)
USSR (currently playing)
- Germany
- Japan
If that’s your roadmap, I’d still recommend:
- TKB-336 (helps your current grind immediately)
- Lanchester 50 (strengthens a completed faction with an exclusive weapon)
The only reason I’d swap the Lanchester 50 for the MP-41(r) is if you expect to finish the USSR very soon and move directly into Germany. In that case, getting a weapon you’ll use immediately in your next faction could make more sense than adding another exclusive to a faction you’ve already completed.
So, with your current progression, my recommendation remains:
TKB-336 (USSR)
Lanchester 50 (USA)
I think that combination gives you the best balance of immediate gameplay value and long-term collection value.
