Where was the post sharing detail on new bomber?

I must have missed the post explaining the details on the PB1H (Premium Mitchell), I think this one has a 75mm, from what I have read, but although there was a line of text in update notes, where was the description… if it has a 75mm I wonder how different to XA38 it will be?

It has 75mm cannon and 6 500lb bombs. 2 extra bombs compared to XA-38

Thanks mate, so I take it you have it? Any good, I love the skin and want it for a Christmas :christmas_tree::santa:

I actually don’t own it. I just took the picture from the shop. Strictly looking at the stats this thing is the best bomber plane for allies atm. It is just the tech tree b25 with additional 75mm cannon.

Compared to the XA-38
・The PBJ-1H is BR 5, while the XA-38 is BR 3.
・The XA-38 has superior aircraft performance (in fact, the XA-38 uses the same engines as the B-29).
・The penetration of the 75 mm guns on both sides is the same, but the PBJ-1H’s 75 mm gun is equipped with APHE and therefore deals high damage after penetration. However, the XA-38 has a higher rate of fire. (At first I wrote that both had the same performance, but it seems my understanding was incorrect. Thank you for pointing this out.)
・The PBJ-1H is equipped with eight forward-firing .50 cal machine guns and six .50 cal guns in turrets, whereas the XA-38 has two forward-mounted .50 cal guns and four .50 cal guns in turrets.
・The PBJ-1H carries six 500-lb bombs, while the XA-38 carries only four 500-lb bombs.
・The PBJ-1H has a crew of six, while the XA-38 has only two crew members.

Compared to the B-25:
・The BR is the same (both are BR 5).
・Aircraft performance is almost identical.
・Bomb load is also the same.
・The PBJ-1H is equipped with a 75 mm cannon, which the B-25 does not have.
・The PBJ-1H has eight forward-firing .50 cal machine guns and six .50 cal guns in turrets, whereas the B-25 has six forward-mounted .50 cal guns and seven .50 cal guns in turrets.
・The PBJ-1H has a crew of six, while the B-25 has a crew of seven.

I have not purchased it myself, but based on examining its performance and conducting test flights, the PBJ-1H appears to have outstanding ground-attack capability, while its air combat performance seems poor. With as many as eight .50 cal machine guns, it can easily shred enemy aircraft that have not noticed it; however, if an enemy fighter becomes aware of it, there is likely little that can be done. It is too slow to escape and too sluggish to win in a dogfight. Given the relatively low damage of .50 cal machine guns, it is probably impossible to shoot down an enemy aircraft with the turrets before suffering fatal damage. Overall, I think this aircraft can be described as “having excellent ground-attack capability and the ability to conduct preemptive strikes against enemy aircraft, but in a serious aerial battle, there is little choice but to give up and wait to be shot down.”

The Premium PBJ fires APHE (Types of shell instead of solid shot) similiar to those found on the Yak 9 K meaning it does massive post pen damage to vehicles

But of course it’s anti air performance is lacking with it’s poor manuverability which to be granted is a big bomber.

No terminator bots manning the turrets?

It is functionally BRIV… to note

Yes, I agree. Furthermore, I also don’t understand why the A-20, which is inferior to the XA-38 in almost every respect, is placed at BR 4.
