Just looking thru the forums I see lots of people with lots of different opinions on various parts of the game. Such as things like perks, the AI, and even smaller mechanics like flinching and whatnot. And I’d just like to know where you guys personally want to see the game go. Do you want to see the devs lean more into the realistic side of things? Do you want the game to go more even more arcadey like COD and whatnot? Are there parts of the game that you think should be changed or overhauled? Just whatever your own thoughts or wants are, feel free to talk about’em down below. Really interested to see how everyone feels here.
If you’ve looked through the forum you probably already have an idea of what others think. There’s even a thread where people list X things that must improve before launch.
More and less realistic / hardcore features can be introduced in the form of separate game modes within the same game. War Thunder is a living proof that it can be done in a successful way. Developers just need to know what they are doing and what their audience wants.
What can’t stay the same no matter what are progression and bots / squads, I think. They need an overhaul or this game won’t go anywhere. Unfortunately, I don’t think these overhauls are all that likely. Either that or developers are just very slow on the uptake, which isn’t a whole lot better.
But that’s just my personal thoughts. I’m not even sure if I’m in the target audience anymore. I should be, but I’m very sceptic about the very idea of having player-controlled bots in a PvP shooter. Which is supposedly the immutable core of the game.

it’s hard to see what the devs want to makes and what people wants.
not necessarly both fault.
but gaming industries and it’s own customers has really changed over the course of the years.
although, i’ll say this;
when the first time i saw Enlisted in the older site, i didn’t know what to expect. and when they said that bots were included, i was really exited. and for enlisted, it was something that not many others did. making a whole game ( i mean, most of the part ) on AIs.
when i played the first alpha on moscow, my expectations were really high, and it turned being better than what i expected. it was amazing even just for just the first week available… in the second alpha, made on berlin, i think that is where enlisted shined the most, showing a truee and solid experience. in this alpha and beta, things has changed. some for the better, others for the worse.
but it’s not here the case of judging.
all of this just for saying, i honeslty hope for this game to be bigger than ever. keeping a place for everyone. including newer gamemodes dedicated for PVE and PVP communities such as, infantry only, and many others interestring ideas. maybe also a campaign?. i also really hope for more customomization and cosmetic options such as put flags on vehicles, change different colors, accurate camouflages for soliers, different wood for weapons ecc.
this game has pruven multiple times it’s potential. and i think, there are no limits.
i know that sometimes comparing titles bettewen each other it’s not always nice, and accurate. but i can say that people coming from H&G, war thunder, red orchestra, and many similar titles are amazed and in love with enlisted. because it brings the best features of those specific game and “combine” them together.
this game, it’s an experience in my opinion. i just hope that it will get better in terms of content and variety.
it’s earlier to say, but as i said, i’m confident.
just a matter of time i hope.

Seems we fell in love with Enlisted under same circumstances
After Moscow public test I was checking for any updates frequently.
This game still have more than enough issues that would bury it alive at the moment it gets released (for which I´m asking you for a patience DEVS, I know that the most common question on drops stream was “when gib open beta?” just release it when its ready, not sooner, nor later), but I have faith, that devs will listen to us more than WT department in terms of using P2W or some other unfortunate gameplay elements (looking at you +35% health, lootboxes etc.).
My expectation and hope is, that Enlisted is going to become War Thunder everybody wanted, not the one “at home” everybody got. While I doubt gaijin will let Enlisted outshine their probably main cashcow, Enlisted have potential to be successor to WT in eyes of the part of playerbase and THAT is important because WT playerbase is huge.
