When your goal is to kill 40 or 50 with a MG

Maybe I went a little overboard on machine gun squad investments just to
meet these daily goals.
when MG kills are the goal

Is the MG-45 any good? Besides the cometics?

To be honest, I myself really can’t tell a lot of difference between the MG-42, MG-39 and the MG-45 except for the ROF. I like it so far, but have only used it in combat twice. Too many other MG squads to get much use . I have eleven slots, nine of which are infantry so I have trouble using all the squads. I put this all machine gun lineup to use in custom matches.

I smoked 50 to the ground this am. Set my vertical perk to 4. Its a lawnmower

yes, both the mg 45 and the early mg 42 are the best german machineguns due to the " cone " being rarely affected when moving.

known as movement penalty that pretty much all machineguns are affected.

allowing you more or so using said machineguns like BARs.
exscept, less sluggish in doing so.

though, i’d reccomend the mg 42 due to being cheaper.
and often goes in discounts.

EDIT; it’s actually even better though, more pricey:

How about the MG 39? Any good?

the mg 39 it’s not bad by any means, but imo, the iron sight is aweful.
and it has slighty more vertical recoil, and higher dispersion.

which is worse than the regular mg 42 too.

though, has a higher rate of fire even than the early mg 42.
but with a 50 round mag, not sure how much good does it do to ya.

Side note.
cosmetic wise, the mg 39 is kinda the only squad in this game that allows you to wear helmetless options with hairs ( in the winter presets ):

so… i guess… style points?

The MG-39 definitely has the worst sights.
