And this is the problem…we have no insight into what they are working on. We haven’t had a Dev blog in over a month now and very little communication on twitter, Q&A streams, etc. Should we know when Tunisia is coming out no, should we know they are working on AI, UI, etc? Yes.

Again, as a native Russian speaker, I offered my help to both the devs and the community to bridge the gap. I was willing to donate my time, free of charge, to translate stuff devs-to-community-to-devs, so long as our community can come up with some sort of mechanism to filter the important stuff (I can’t possibly translate every post and every comment).
The devs response was just silence.
Community’s response was: “it’s not our job to bridge that gap”.
A company that is using literally all the resources of Gijian that can’t figure out away to translate or hire a English speaking community manger is higher than a kite. Post Scriptum seemed to have no problem getting the information out there with monthly development blogs. Their CEO is French, Senior Programmer is from India, Gameplayer programmers same thing, the level designer is Russian. While I appreciate the sentiment of trying bridge the gap it is 100 percent a bullshit excuse to say well none of us speak English thus we can’t get a dev blog out on a monthly bases. 1) They have already released information in English so they have some way to get someone to type it and they tweet in English daily too. 2) fine release it in Russian people can read it and people will translate it.

I just have to ask - how many times do I need to say that my problem is not with people being unhappy with this situation (that I understand and respect), but rather with people making up reasons for why this situation occurred in the first place (ah, they’re lazy, shady, greedy, they just want X, and so on)? Just tell me that magic number, I’ll do it.

}well yes we are not the ones to solve their problems, the community is absolutely right and as evidenced by @103687733 they have the money, enlisted it did not cost anything to Darkflow most of the game was taken by war thunder and they just reshaped it, plus with all the money obtained from the closed beta and the premium teams that if you didn’t notice it cost as much as a AAA game, if we do the math, he pocketed the same money that battlefield takes on every new game, and frankly the excuse of we’re Russian we don’t understand English is an old one, they have to deal almost every day with foreigners who communicate in English so I think they have found a way to solve it what it costs them to do a monthly dev diary ?, for to conclude it is not up to us to fix their laziness but to themselves if they want the money they have to work, the community does not create the game.
