Will the Tunisian German Afrika Korps, Italian Army, and British Army squads, as well as the Pacific War USMC squads and other campaign squads, which are no longer available, return? If I want to play Tunisia, I’ll bring a squad that participated in the Tunisian campaign, and if I want to play the Pacific War as the US Army, I’ll bring a squad that participated in the Pacific War. However, there are so few squads available now that I have to bring a squad that isn’t participating in that campaign.

That’s not how this game works, there’s no system for something like that. Division names and insignia have no real influence on anything. Their only purpose is to differentiate squads between each other.

Well back in the old days with the campaign system this kinda was already in the game - even tho historical inconsistencies did exist from the very beginning of the game.
Its unlikely that legacy squads will return, especially not with the goal to make historically accurate units.

They never said that… that’s how they’d like to play.
All divisions in this game and their insignias have a historical counterpart that you can find… clearly showing the devs took care and effort into creating these for what was the legacy system.
