My idea is that whenever our squad member is under fire (takes damage) it shoud display something where the fire is coming from, as in reality, if our squad mate would take hits he would’ve told us where from.
so instead of red icon that appears when we are under fire it could be like green arrow that indicate where our team-mate is taking fire from (although it could be anything else). IMO this would tighten the squad impression, perfectly fit in fast pace gameplay and on top of that would be really useful so that our team wouldn’t die in matter of seconds as usual.
i hope you understand what i mean and please take this as overall idea only
look, i had suggestions of making this game harder than it is rn but people were shiting me that its not what they want, so i came up with something opposite and still. i don’t think this would make the game THAT easier… it’s just simple idea, it could be implemented other way of course so that it wouldn’t be into your eyes that much.
I would have to disagree on this one. Accurate and current information are an extremely valuable asset, but if its given that easily the game will get really broken, really quickly.
I think that at most it should only highlight a cardinal direction on your compass. Like shots coming from the East. That way you have a general direction, and less of a direct indicator. I personally don’t think anything should be added for the bots taking fire though. If a player isnt paying attention to the fact his soldiers are getting hit, and where the tracers are coming from, that’s their own fault as its pretty obvious usually.
lol, we already have noobs in the game who don’t spot enemies for pilots. adding to piss poor Teamwork. i say we ban all the noobs and just maybe the game will be better.
it’s because this game needs casual and ranked mode separately. Casual mode would be for people (a’ka "noobs) that wanna have few uncommitted matches. These matches would have all the conveniences in the game while ranked mode wouldn’t. btw its not nice to call people noobs just because they’re mostly newbies or they’re not as committed.
and before you gonna say that the playerbase is split up enough already i agree, but you have to make ranked mode so that advanced players could stay. This game just seems like it doesn’t want advanced players to stay. (so far)

a. there’s not enough players to split the playerbase by half across all modes and campaigns again
b. this game does not have the mechanics, quality netcode or general framework for competitive play beyond ‘just for fun’ events. no offense but are you new? ranked mode would not work here, and sbmm is a general cancer that has ruined most online games
look i meant ranked mode is necessary to keep advanced players in, i didn’t say enlisted would work fine having one (at current state) or have chance having (although things might get changed you know), but this is what it is, devs need to find a way in implementing one, advanced players needs skill based challenge that’s it.
ranked mode isn’t necessary to keep players in though. good balance, a variety of maps and interesting updates/additions to the game are what does that. a ranked mode would just split the playerbase and encourage sweatfests even further
