Spawned into my tank, and noticed there were no enemy tanks/armored cars, or infantry who knew how to use the explosive charge to destroy a tank. I went on to a rampage until I ran out of MG bullets and HE shells, after which I just started driving over groups of enemies to rack up more kills. This was extremely fun, but maaaaybe there should be a tooltip that the explosive charge can take out tanks
We still lost tho as tanks can not cap points, and the last point had an area where I couldnt get to so enemies were safe
The tutorial should maybe be a bit more complex, with different section and an instructor that tell you stuff about your stuff and how to deal with enemy stuff.
Tanks are currently more or less a detriment to winning a battle with the current maps and games modes. In addition to that, standing in one place, and playing area denial at around 50-100m is not fun to do the whole match. Enlisted needs larger maps so tanks can engage at the average historically accurate engagement ranges (800m), and so that there is more diversity in the tank combat.
Tanks without infantry support are a walking target. I rarely have issue sneaking up and blowing them up.
Tanks play about the same here as in Heroes & Generals:
Tanks out in the open can easily get taken out by sniping tanks
Tanks in the city can easily get taken out by infantry sneaking up to them
Only tanks that are far away and consealed, like a sniper, get work done
Unless no enemy comes to take you out and you go on a rampage
What if: we completely remove hitmarker and killfeed for tank? I legitimately have no idea if it good or bad idea.
I mean you could still do area denial but you will not have kill confirmation anymore, the only real con i see is = HE shelling room of a house will be really useless, even more than now.
I need the devs to remove the green yellow red marker pointing at tanks really gives off the tanks if they are hiding…I remember in normandy my sherman was getting shot from the bushes ansd I could not aim properly where the shot was coming from coz the enemy was behind the bushes then after missing my first shot I saw green pointer and boom went the enemy tank really dumb coz he was at an advantage sniping I only killed him coz I saw the green pointer.
This is why panzergrenadiere were so important. Regular infantry thinks that tanks are indestructible while in reality they are blind and helpless when on their own. Unless you play BF and have magical 3rd person camera.
say that to a kv1 once it alone killed 22 german tanks…if you wish I can show you the documentary
Why was it alone? What happened to whole russian tank division?
Exception of the rule. There are always some exceptions.
another story is there but not as much badass as this one
This is what I’m talking about.
The same situation is with lone somua tank in france, it’s similar story.
The rest were killing the other 100 german tanks.
My best game was when I got 172 kills and 1 death in a BT-7 simply because the enemy didn’t know how to destroy my tank. They kept throwing hand grenades which don’t do anything to a tank that’s driving around. I also think that the tutorial should explain how to kill tanks more effectively. Maybe once they do that, people will be ready to face the T-34 and KV-1 (and whatever german counterpart they would have)
KV-1 has thick enough armor to ignore explosive packs and the AT rifles can’t pen it, nor can the 20mm from the Pz2 or the 37mm on the Pz3s. (37mm lacks the APCR, which could penetrate a KV-1 from flat side)
It doesn’t matter whether people know how to counter something or not if it literally cannot be countered by anything short of the 50mm STATIONARY (and thus easily avoidable), limited traverse AT gun built by the engineers.
Uh practically none. Maybe a late Pz3 but it would make all other tanks ingame obselete if you added it and the T-34
I love those battles.
Another tactic I’ve found effective is to just be absurdly aggressive, running people over and firing point blank. As long as you never stop moving and keep mixing your path up, the enemy team will have a rough time catching you. Even worked in my T-26 until I spent too long going one direction and got caught by a cannon before I could turn the next corner.

It really depends on the situation,
If you get matched up with veterans (mostly happens when fighting against GER) they will non-stop throw TNT at you.
When you fight noobies and bots, you can survive the whole battle without being killed.
When noobs learn how to use TNT packs, tanks will have no chance so I still think TNT should be used only to blow up tracks and Anti-tank grenades to counter tanks as it was more realistic and will add some more options to anti-tank role
Yup. This is how to play BT-7 and co.
How will that change anything?
The newbies will just learn to throw AT grenades instead of explosive packs
AT grenades were better than TNT packs irl but even those weapons had to be thrown directly on top of the vehicle or underneath it to damage it.
Now TNT pack behaves like a 100kg bomb that can be thrown by soldiers
