This is one proof that ranks don’t matter much but instead, its the players themselves along with other factors like the map and mode. I don’t think a matchmaking based on ranks would work like a marshal can be a level 1 on a certain faction on a certain campaign.
Yeah, rank system is a weird thing. I returned to Enlisted a couple of days ago and at first I though that Marshals supposed to be “badass” players. Nope. Honeslty, Im not sure why this system is here at all. Ive seen enough players with ranks lower than Marshal who performed quite well and I’ve seen a few Marshals who were meh, to put it mildly. AFAIK it kinda shows the amount of time you’ve played.
Bot can be marshal, anyway soviet moscow pve enjoier are all marshal, obliviusly put them in berlin and are food
Wait what? I mean I know Enlisted is full of bots and I assumed that they gonna get ranks as well so you would think they are “real”. Bbbbbut bot marshals? XD Truly DF never changes…
Yea bot marshal are real
He is making that shit up. They can’t be “Marshals”.
Your picture apparently prove the opposite thing, 3 marshals on Axis team has the most kill.
I’ve played on a few teams in Moscow yesterday with plenty of Marshals on both side, and it was much different game. Swarms of infantry and top tier tanks with exceptional maneuvering. Whatever you may think about the system, to get 150 points at average of 2 points and that’s only if you win, is very hard. You’d have to get a badge at the end of the battle. At the very least, you get to practice a lot.
That said, when I got to 149, I was sure that I was a game away… yet it took me 12 games, because three to four marshals on enemy squads would obliterate average teams to gain a decisive advantage. Surprisingly, my 12th game involved allied team with no marshals, and we won.
Marshals definitely implies a top tier player, whether specialized or “jack of all trades” doesn’t matter. It’s a player that makes a difference and would be at the top of the list by games end. Victories/defeats in Enlisted are useless metric unless you playing on designated team/clans vs another clan/team. Law of probability means that a player - average or elite - will win and lose the same number of games, because teams are random so you have no control over it. Only thing you can do is be responsible for your own performance.
After the top 3 of the Axis players, look at their kills then compare them to my teammates. Anyone can have over 300+ kills and still lose because majority of the team refuses to do the objective.
Those word you said means marshal is not necessary good, but you post a picture of marshal getting the most kill?
I can 100% confirm bots can be Marshals
I have a few screens of marshals deserting myself. I see you squad up while my team is full of bots at that and yeah team was totally shit which happens alot for Tunisia Axis.
Not to brag or anything but on the topic of Marshals…
This was a tough game but they didnt manage to capture first 2 points. I will semiagree with @120921951 that Marshals are above average players but definitely not top tier otherwise we, meager noobs, would have been crashed by 6 Marshals.
Lol their entire team only used 4 vehicles???
I always find it hilarious when they go infantry heavy on that map. I mean I understand that C,D and E can be rushed by infantry and can’t be touched by tanks or planes, but to use total of four vehicles to take A and B without tanks is hard especially since your team clearly used plenty of vehicles and engineers.
Great game, either way.
