When playing in Germany, soldiers often shout “Russkiye!” when they first spawn…
I assumed that in the German-Soviet war map, the Germans were shouting it about the opponent they are about to fight to get into the mood.
But since the merge, they have also shouted “Russkiye!” in the Normandy and Battle of the Bulge, and “Russkiye!” in the Tunisian desert. ![]()
There are no Russians there. ![]()
I would like to ask devs. Tell the German bots not to shout “Russkiye!!!” if the Soviets are not there.

No, it is about the audio of vanilla games. When you spawn, the German soldier shouts “Russkiye”…

Next time they yell that word I will record it.
You probably misheard it, as no faction has targeted battle cries. What you probably heard was “Los geht’s”, which basically means “Let’s go”.
But if not, here you have all battle cries in the game with translations:
