You get one with every plane squad and you dont need more.
in the future some aircraft will have 2 to 5 pilots (bomber)

attackers ones will have extra needed but for fighters yeah, anyways i rather have this system since kinda bothersome to level up each fighter to get tier V now its easy.

Do you get an assist for each kill if you have an extra pilot, like you do in tanks?
I only use fighters, so I really don’t know.

It’s impossible to get level one soldiers right now…
Not currently. you can add more attacker pilots to the squad, but it’s like having more tankers than the tank holds. If/when they let us have the defensive guns, and they should, maybe?
i do know that the “tail gunner” of the b2 stuka will act like a second pilot if your first one gets pilot sniped
